Brian Charles Lara,is a Trinidadian former international cricketer,widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. He topped the Test batting rankings on several occasions and holds several cricketing records,including the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket,with 501 not out for Warwickshire against Durham at Edgbaston in 1994,which is the only quintuple-hundred in first-class cricket history. As captain,Lara led the West Indies team to win the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy,the first time the team won any major ICC trophy since winning the 1979 Cricket World Cup.
Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001,captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches. He is a fast bowler and considered one of the all-time greats,best known for a remarkable opening bowling partnership along with fellow West Indian Curtly Ambrose for several years. Walsh played 132 Tests and 205 ODIs for the West Indies and took 519 and 227 wickets respectively. He shared 421 Test wickets with Ambrose in 49 matches. He held the record of most Test wickets from 2000,after he broke the record of Kapil Dev. This record was later broken in 2004 by Shane Warne. He was the first bowler to reach 500 wickets in Test cricket. His autobiography is entitled "Heart of the Lion". Walsh was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1987. In October 2010,he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He was appointed as the Specialist Bowling Coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team in August 2016.

He was one of the most successful international batsmen of his generation,and through a career spanning 1973 until 1997,he was the most prolific run scorer of all time,with 67,057 runs across first-a class and limited-overs games. Andrew Flower is a Zimbabwean cricket coach and a former cricketer. As a cricketer,he captained the Zimbabwe national cricket team and is widely regarded as the greatest Zimbabwean cricketer ever and one of the greatest wicket-keeper-batters of all time. He was Zimbabwe's wicket-keeper for more than 10 years and is,statistically,the greatest batsman the country has produced. His highest score in ODI cricket which was his 145 he made against India in the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy is also the highest score made by a Zimbabwe player at any tournaments. During his peak from October to December 2001,Flower was ranked as the best Test batsman in the world. He was widely acknowledged as the only Zimbabwe batsman of proper test quality in any conditions. After retirement,he served as the coach of the English cricket team from 2009 to 2014. Under his coaching,England won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20. Flower became the second foreign coach in the team's history. Currently,he is the head coach of Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League,St Lucia Kings in the Caribbean Premier League and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Coach Andrew has also coached Gulf Giant and won the cup with them (23-24) and is still coaching them.

Andrew Gordon Ganteaume was a Trinidadian cricketer who played one Test match for the West Indies in 1948 as a batsman. He scored 112 in his only Test innings which left him with the highest Test batting average in history until it was surpassed by Kurtis Patterson. Ganteaume played for Trinidad from a young age and was chosen to play in a Test match against England following his good batting form in 1948. However,his slow scoring probably cost him his place and he never played another Test,although he toured England with the West Indies in 1957. At the time of his death,Ganteaume was the oldest surviving West Indies Test cricketer.
Sir Everton DeCourcy Weekes,KCMG,GCM,OBE was a cricketer from Barbados. A right-handed batsman,he was known as one of the hardest hitters in world cricket. Weekes holds the record for the most consecutive Test hundreds,with five. Along with Frank Worrell and Clyde Walcott,he formed what was known as "The Three Ws" of the West Indies cricket team. Weekes played in 48 Test matches for the West Indies cricket team from 1948 to 1958. He continued to play first-class cricket until 1964,surpassing 12,000 first-class runs in his final innings. As a coach he was in charge of the Canadian team at the 1979 Cricket World Cup,and he was also a commentator and international match referee.

Clifford Archibald Roach was a West Indian cricketer who played in West Indies' first Test match in 1928. Two years later,he scored the West Indies' first century in Test matches,followed two matches later by the team's first double century. Roach played for Trinidad,but before having any great success at first-class level,he was chosen to tour England with a West Indies team in 1928 and scored over 1,000 runs. When England played in the West Indies in 1930,he recorded his ground-breaking centuries but had intermittent success at Test level afterwards. He toured Australia in 1930–31 and returned to England in 1933,when he once more passed 1,000 runs,but was dropped from the team in 1935. Within three years,he lost his place in the Trinidad team. Roach was generally inconsistent,but batted in an attacking and attractive style. Outside of cricket,he worked as a solicitor. Later in his life,he suffered from diabetes which necessitated the amputation of both his legs.
David John Capel was an English cricketer who played for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club and the English cricket team. Cricket writer Colin Bateman noted that "Capel was one of those unfortunate cricketers who became tagged as being the next all-rounder to fill Ian Botham's boots". He was well known for his long stint with Northamptonshire as a player as well as coach for nearly 32 years. He was regarded as one of the icons of the Northamptonshire club. He died on 2 September 2020,at the age of 57,after being diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2018.
Kieron Adrian Pollard is a Trinidadian cricketer,who captained the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket. He currently plays in various T20 leagues around the globe as an all-rounder. He also captains MI Emirates and MI New York in the ILT20 and MLC respectively. He was part of the 2012 ICC World T20 winning team for West Indies.

Jason Paul Williams is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. A New Zealand international representative winger,he played his club football in Australia for Sydney's Western Suburbs Magpies,Eastern Suburbs Roosters,South Sydney Rabbitohs,Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Penrith Panthers as well as in England for Salford. Williams played 145 games in the Australian competition from 1987–88 and 1991–98,scoring a total of 63 tries and winning the 1995 ARL Premiership with the Canterbury club. Williams played in 12 test matches for New Zealand between 1991 and 1995,scoring one try. He played in one non-test international on the 1993 Kiwis tour against Wales and two World Cup matches.
