David Young is an American musician. He is known for his ability to play two recorders simultaneously. He was also a member of the new age duo Celestial Winds with harpist Lisa Franco. [1] [2]
Young started playing the recorder in the third grade in Brooklyn, New York. He studied baroque and renaissance music with Phil Levin and at age 12 he became the youngest member to join the New York Recorder Guild advanced performing group.
Young's music has been featured on the U.S. television series' General Hospital, All My Children and Passions.
He has worked recorded with artists such as Bobby Schnitzer, Cheryl Gallagher, and Robin Berry.
1994: CNN does special segment on David Young's "rags to riches" story. David Young's Christmas Morning CD is #2 in Canada.
1998: Young performs at Heather McCartney's launch of her gift line in Atlanta, Georgia.
2001: David Young Musical Greeting Card line launched.
2004: Young writes, produces and acts in the movie Village of Dreams, filmed at the Käthe Wohlfahrt Christmas store in Rothenburg, Germany. A companion children's book was made along with the Village of Dreams movie.
2005: David writes and produces a musical called Woodstock: The Mystery of Destiny, which has been performed at various theaters.

Blackmore's Night is a British-American neo-medieval folk rock band formed in 1997, consisting mainly of Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night. Their lineup has seen many changes over the years; Blackmore and Night have been the only two constant members. They have released eleven studio albums. Medwyn Goodall is a composer, musician and owner of record label MG Music. He is mostly associated with the New Age genre. He was born in Yorkshire, England. He lives with his wife Wendy in Cornwall, England. According to AllMusic, "Goodall began composing original songs as a teen, earning local notoriety with his band Trax; in the years to follow, he learned to play a vast range of instruments, including mandolin, piano, drums, harp, flute, glockenspiel, panpipes, vibraphone and synthesizer, and cut his first album at age 26". He is a prolific recorder, having recorded over 75 albums. He also topped the UK music charts twice and sold over three million albums. His first album was Emergence (1987), published by New World Music. His early albums were published also by Oreade Music. Medwyn Goodall started MG Music in 2003. This is a record label which specializes in New Age music.

The group uses historical instruments in keeping with historically informed performance practice. The ensemble was founded in 1987 by Daniel Johnson, who remains the group's artistic director. The group is classified as a non-profit organization and operates primarily on grant money and donations for individual and corporate supporters. Income is supplemented by ticket sales and merchandise sales. Texas Early Music Project is a member of Early Music America. Performers are primarily professional musicians from the Austin area, although performers visit from Texas at large, from all over the United States, and occasionally internationally.
Psychic Ills are an American experimental rock/psychedelic rock band from New York City, consisting of Tres Warren, Elizabeth Hart (vocals/bass), Adam Amram, Jon Catfish Delorme, and Brent Cordero. They formed in 2003, and have released five albums, one compilation, four EPs and a number of singles. The band was signed to The Social Registry from 2005 to 2010.
