Davor Mizerit (born 4 January 1981) is a rower from Slovenia, who competed for his native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. [1]

He won the bronze medal in the Men's Single Sculls event at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain.

He was born in Koper and is a member of the Veslaski Klub Nautilus Koper.

Herbert L. "Bud" Koper is an American former National Basketball Association (NBA) player. In his senior season at Oklahoma City University, Bud scored a school-record fifty points against North Texas State. Following the season, he was named a first team All-American by the USBWA and was invited to the U.S. Olympic tryouts. Her best achievement is bronze medal from World Championship, which was held in July 2017 in Theasaloniki, Greece. At European championships she won two gold medals in 2015 and 2018, a silver medal in 2012 and two bronze medals in 2014 and 2016.

Teja Černe is a Slovenian competitive sailor. She was born in Koper. She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in the women's one person dinghy event, the Europe class. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, in the women's 470, together with Tina Mrak.

Dilshod Aripov is an amateur Uzbekistani Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's lightweight category. He is a two-time medalist at the Asian Games, and five-time at the Asian Wrestling Championships. Aripov also achieved his early international success by defeating Armenia's Karen Mnatsakanyan for a gold medal in the 58 kg class at the 2001 World Wrestling Championships in Patras, Greece.

Mitja Nevečny is a Slovenian former sailor, who specialized in the two-person dinghy (470) class. Together with his partner and eventual two-time Olympian Karlo Hmeljak, he was named one of the country's top sailors in the double-handed dinghy for the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing in a lowly eighteenth place. A member of the local sailing club in his native Koper, Nevečny trained for the Games under his personal coach Tine Može.
