Deena Lynn Wigger (born August 27, 1966) is a retired American sport shooter, she is the daughter of the Olympic shooter Lones Wigger. She placed 10th in the 10 m air rifle shooting event at the 1988 Summer Olympics. [1]

Wigger won a total of four gold medals at the Pan American Games in 1983–1995. [2] She also won one gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the 1986 and 1990 World Championships. In 1989 she broke the world record for air rifle with 389 of 400. [1]

Wigger attended college at Murray State University in Kentucky, helping them win an NCAA team championship. After the 1988 Olympics, she joined the Wyoming Air National Guard, and then the US Air Force, where she served as a medical technician and an assistant shooting coach at the US Air Force Academy. [1] In 1996 she was named the United States Air Force Athlete of the Year.

Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Charles Jackson was an American competitive sport shooter. In his international career, he won numerous medals across three Summer Olympic Games, three ISSF World Shooting Championships, and two editions of the Pan American Games. He began shooting in the seventh grade and joined the rifle team at Brooklyn Technical High School in 1934. He competed in local and regional tournaments prior to World War II, during which he worked at the Sperry Corporation and later served as a bombardier in the Pacific Theater of Operations. His first international tournament was the 1948 Summer Olympics and his last was the 1956 edition, at which point he began a career in public service with the Central Intelligence Agency in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He stopped competing at the international level in 1957 and retired from the CIA at the end of 1974. After several years as an instructor and coach, he continued participating in smaller tournaments through the 1990s.

Yi Siling is a Chinese female sport shooter specializing in 10 meter air rifle events, she is the gold medalists for 2012 Olympics, 2010 World Championships and 2010 Asian Games. Yi started shooting in 2007 and made her international debut in 2009. In 2010, she won the World Championships at the 10m air rifle and became the first person to qualify for the 2012 Summer Olympics. At the Olympics, she captured the first gold medal of the games by winning the 10 m air rifle event.

Andrea Arsović is a Serbian sport shooter. She won a gold medal in the 10m air rifle at the 2015 European Games and is also a two-time European champion in the same discipline as well as a three-time champion in mixed team and once in women's team. Arsović won a gold medal at the 2009 and 2018 Mediterranean Games. She competed in the Women's 10 metre air rifle and women's 50 metre three positions events at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

She is a two-time Olympian and a gold medalist at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico and was a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was the assistant coach for the TCU Horned Frogs women's rifle team for three seasons and is currently the assistant coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes rifle team.

Rebecca Nicole "Beki" Snyder is a Canadian-born American sport shooter. She is a four-time Olympian, and won a silver medal for pistol shooting at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was also a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Roberto José Elías Orozco is a Mexican sport shooter. He won two bronze medals in both air and small-bore rifle at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, accumulating scores of 1,223.4 and 690.9 points, respectively. Elias also competed for his respective shooting events at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, but he neither reached the final round, nor claimed an Olympic medal.

Suma Shirur is a former Indian shooter who competed in the 10 metre air rifle event. She is a joint world record holder in the event, having scored the maximum of 400 points in the qualification round, which she achieved at the 2004 Asian Shooting Championships in Kuala Lumpur. In 2003, she was awarded the Arjuna Award by the government of India. She is currently the High Performance Coach of the Indian Jr. Rifle Shooting Team. She is also the coach of 2020 Paralympics women's SH1 10m rifle gold and women's SH1 50m 3-position rifle bronze medalist Avani Lekhara On 30 November 2022, she was conferred the Dronacharya Award by the 15th President of India, Droupadi Murmu.

Collyn "Whitly" Loper is an American sport shooter. She won a gold medal in trap shooting at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and eventually finished fourth at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, narrowly missing out an opportunity to claim an Olympic medal. Since the age of fourteen, Loper has been serving throughout her sporting career for the U.S. national team, and trains rigorously under her longtime coach Lloyd Woodhouse. Naturally right-handed, Loper was born blind in her right eye that urged her to shoot left.

Seonaid McIntosh is a British sports shooter who became the World Champion at the 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships in the 50m Prone Rifle event. In 2019 she became Britain's most successful female rifle shooter of all time, winning five World Cup medals. She also became the first British Woman to rank World #1 for the 50m Rifle Three Position event and became European Champion in the 300m Rifle Prone event with an equal World Record score.

Kim Eagles is a Canadian sport shooter. Eagles won a gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in the 10 metre air pistol event. She also participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics in the 10 metre air pistol event.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mary Tucker (sport shooter)</span> American sports shooter (born 2001)

Mary Carolynn Tucker is an American sport shooter. She won silver in the 10m air rifle mixed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Previously she has won gold at the 2021 ISSF World Cup in the 10 metre air rifle. She also won a silver medal in 10 metre air rifle team women and a bronze medal in 10m air rifle mixed team in the ISSF World Cup 2021, New Delhi. After the games she took home 6 medals from the Junior World Championships and the 10 meter air rifle championship from the 2021 Pan American Games. Tucker is right handed and is right eye dominant.
