"Deepest Blue" is the debut single of British house music duo Deepest Blue. Released on 21 July 2003, the single became a hit, reaching number seven on the UK Singles Chart and experiencing moderate success in Flanders, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
Thr song was originally written by Joel Edwards and produced by Anthony Mein. After the first version of the song did not gain any interest, it was taken to Matt Schwartz for new production, and he wrote a new backing track and chorus in the studio. Mein did not appear in the final act line-up as he had moved to Thailand and was not in the studio when the record was re-done.
The duo's eponymous song derives its title from a computing accident that occurred when the words 'deepest blue' came up on the screen when Edwards pressed 'save', whilst the content was inspired by Coldplay's "Yellow". In an interview with Zoe Smith for The Guardian , Edwards said, "It's just the first sentiment of Chris Martin's opening line. When he sings, 'Look at the stars/ Look how they shine for you...' I thought that was such an awesome sentiment. Imagine writing that for some love of yours and how heartfelt it sounds." [1]
A new version of the song was released on 10 January 2025, with re-recorded vocals and new production.

"Dance for Me" is a song by American singer Mary J. Blige featuring American rapper Ahkim Miller from Blige's fifth studio album, No More Drama (2001). Produced by Dame Grease, the track was written by the artists alongside Bruce Miller with an additional writing credit going to Sting for the sampling of the 1979 song "The Bed's Too Big Without You" by English rock band the Police. For the No More Drama 2002 re-release, the version featuring Ahkim Miller was replaced with the more widely-known version featuring Common. The subsequent single release was the version with Common.
"Move Your Feet" is a song by Danish pop duo Junior Senior from their debut studio album, D-D-Don't Don't Stop the Beat (2002). The song, originally released in June 2002 in the duo's native Denmark, was issued worldwide in 2003 and became Junior Senior's biggest hit, reaching No. 4 in Denmark, No. 3 in the United Kingdom, and No. 20 in Australia, where it was ranked number 87 on the Triple J Hottest 100 countdown of [[. A music video for the song, directed by British art collective Shynola, was created using low-resolution pixel art. The song was sampled in Nicki Minaj's 2024 song "Everybody".
"One Love" is a song by English boy band Blue. Co-written by the band and StarGate, who also produced the track, it was released in the United Kingdom on 21 October 2002 as the lead single from their second studio album, One Love (2002). It reached number three on the UK Singles Chart and entered the top 10 in Denmark, Ireland, Italy, and New Zealand. "One Love" has received a gold certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), representing sales and streams of at least 400,000 units in the UK. The song's music video was directed by Cameron Casey.
"Mundian To Bach Ke" (IPA:[mʊɳɖɪãːtõːbətːʃkeː]), also titled "Beware of the Boys (Mundian To Bach Ke)" or "Beware", is a bhangra music song produced by British musician Panjabi MC, with vocals and lyrics by Punjabi artist Labh Janjua. The song was recorded first by Panjabi MC in Birmingham, England, for his 1998 album Legalised/The Album.
"One Step Too Far" is a song by British electronic music group Faithless. The track features member Rollo Armstrong's sister Dido on vocals and was remixed for single release. "One Step Too Far" was released on 8 April 2002 as the fourth and final single from their third studio album, Outrospective (2001). The song peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart, number four on the US Dance Club Play chart, and number 21 on the Australian Singles Chart.
"Pass That Dutch" is a song by American rapper Missy Elliott. It was written and produced by Timbaland and Elliott for her fifth studio album, This Is Not a Test! (2003), and contains samples of "Magic Mountain" by War and "Potholes in My Lawn" by De La Soul.
"Where the Party At" is a song by American R&B group Jagged Edge featuring guest vocals from Nelly. The song spent three weeks at number-one on the US R&B chart. It was the group's highest-charting single on the US Billboard Hot 100, spending five weeks at number three in September 15, 2001. The song was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 44th Grammy Awards in 2002, a brand new category at the time. It lost to Eve and Gwen Stefani's "Let Me Blow Ya Mind".
"Make Luv" is a song by Italian music producer Room 5, which features the sampled voice of American R&B singer Oliver Cheatham from his 1983 hit "Get Down Saturday Night". Initially released in 2001, "Make Luv" first gained success in its 2003 re-release, reaching No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, where it remained for four weeks in March and into April of 2003. The song also reached the top 10 in Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Romania.
How Did You Know is an extended play (EP) by Jamaican electronic dance musician Kurtis Mantronik. The EP was released in 2003 on the Southern Fried Records label, and features British singer Mim on vocals. "How Did You Know " was released as a single from the EP, reaching number 16 on the UK Singles Chart and number three in Romania. The title track peaked atop the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in May 2004.
"Fly By II" is a song by English boy band Blue. It was released on 18 March 2002 as the fourth single from their debut studio album, All Rise (2001). The release includes the band's first non-album exclusive, "Love R.I.P". "Fly By II" is a remixed version of the All Rise album track "Fly By", which samples the song "Rise" by Herb Alpert, while the remix samples from the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize". The remix reached number six on the UK Singles Chart.
"All I Want" is a song by British girl group Mis-Teeq. It was written by Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington, David Brant, Alan Glass and Maryann Morgan and originally produced by David Brant. A UK garage remix by Ceri "Sunship" Evans was produced for their 2001 debut album Lickin' on Both Sides, and was released as a single, reaching No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart in 2001. It is their joint-biggest hit, along with "Scandalous" (2003).
"Be Faithful" is a song performed by American hip hop artist Fatman Scoop, featuring and produced by American hip hop duo the Crooklyn Clan. The song was released in March 1999, becoming a minor hit in the United States. A second release in October 2003 gained the song wider international success. "Be Faithful" topped the charts in the UK and Ireland in 2003, and peaked within the top 10 of the charts in Australia and Denmark. The song was featured in the trailer for the film The Best Man and later in the 2001 film Save the Last Dance.
"Just the Way You Are" is the debut single of Italian house music group Milky. Although it did not chart in the band's home country, it was a top-10 hit in the United Kingdom, reaching number eight on the UK Singles Chart, and charted within the top 30 in Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Romania. "Something" is the debut single of Belgian music group Lasgo. It was first released on 15 June 2001 as the lead single from their debut album, Some Things (2001). It became a hit in the band's native Belgium, peaking at No. 5 in the Flanders region, and reached the top 10 in several European countries. In February 2002, it was released in the United Kingdom, reaching No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. It also peaked within the top 40 in the United States. In 2013, the song was re-released with new additional vocals from British pop singer Taylor Jones.
"Are You Ready for Love" is a song recorded by English musician Elton John in 1977 and first released in the UK in 1979 as the first single from the EP The Thom Bell Sessions. It was written by LeRoy Bell, Thom Bell and Casey James, and was originally produced in Philadelphia by Thom Bell, who had already produced a series of hits for the Spinners, the Delfonics and the Stylistics. While the song "Mama Can't Buy You Love" from the EP charted in 1979, this song and the other track on the three-track 12-inch vinyl disc, "Three Way Love Affair", were only minor footnotes at the time. The song originally peaked at number 42 on the UK Single Charts in 1979.
"Good Luck" is a song by British electronic music duo Basement Jaxx featuring vocals from Lisa Kekaula of American band the Bellrays. It was released on 5 January 2004 as the second single from their third studio album, Kish Kash, and reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart, number two on the US Hot Dance Club Play, and number 22 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart. The song was nominated in the Best Dance Recording category at the 47th Grammy Awards.
"The Finest" is a song by American band the S.O.S. Band. It is the fifth track on their sixth studio album, Sands of Time, and is one of the group's last songs to feature the vocals of original lead singer Mary Davis. Labelmate and fellow R&B singer Alexander O'Neal shares vocals with Mary Davis during the bridge. "The Finest" was released as a single in 1986.
"The Night" is a song by German hard dance band Scooter. It heavily interpolates "The Night" by Valerie Dore. The song was released as the second single from Scooter's ninth studio album, The Stadium Techno Experience, on 26 May 2003. Upon its release, "The Night" reached number eight in Hungary, number 10 in Germany, and reached the top 20 in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
"Superstylin'" is a song by English electronic duo Groove Armada, released as the band's first single on 13 August 2001, from the album Goodbye Country . Vocals were performed by Groove Armada's long-time vocalist MC M.A.D.. Groove Armada credited Daniels for the cross-genre sound of the track, saying it was house music with influences of dancehall, reggae, and dub, with a speed garage bassline.
"Give Me a Reason" is a song by Irish pop rock group the Corrs. It was released in February 2001 as the third single taken from their third studio album In Blue (2000). The song was written and produced by the Corrs. "Give Me a Reason" is a dance-pop song, and received favourable reviews from music critics. The song reached number 27 in the United Kingdom and number 13 in New Zealand.
