Dennis Yablonsky was the CEO of the Allegheny Conference from 2008 to 2017, when he retired. [1] He previously served as a member of Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell's cabinet as Secretary of Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. He was nominated for that position in 2003. [2] He resigned in 2008. [3]

He holds a degree from the University of Cincinnati. [4] He was CEO of Carnegie Group Incorporated from 1987 through 1999. [4] Prior to that, he served in various roles, including President and CEO, for Cincom Systems. [4]

He was named to the PoliticsPA list of "Pennsylvania's Smartest Staffers and Operatives." [5]

After five years of investigation by Republican State Attorney General Tom Corbett, he was indicted in December 2009 on six charges of conflict of interest, theft and criminal conspiracy on accusations that two members of his staff used state resources to campaign for political office. The trial began January 23, 2010. He was re-elected in 2010 despite the charges, but was convicted of five of the six felony charges on February 6, 2012.

Prior to the Wolf administration, Isenhour served executive director of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, was state director of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign, and assisted with the successful campaigns of U.S. Senator Bob Casey, Jr. and Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell. She now serves with the firm Rooney Novak Isenhour, LLC and is a member of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
