The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) is a department of the South African government that is responsible for the organisation and administration of the civil service. It is responsible for matters including labour relations of government employees, the provision of government IT services, and integrity in public administration. Political responsibility for the department is held by the Minister of Public Service and Administration, assisted by a deputy. As of June 2024 [update] the minister is Mzamo Buthelezi and his deputy is Pinky Kekana. In the 2020 budget the department received an appropriation of R565.7 million. In the 2018/19 financial year it had 444 employees. [1]
The Scottish Government is the devolved government of Scotland. It was formed in 1999 as the Scottish Executive following the 1997 referendum on Scottish devolution. The Australian Public Service (APS) is the federal civil service of the Commonwealth of Australia responsible for the public administration, public policy, and public services of the departments and executive and statutory agencies of the Government of Australia. The Australian Public Service was established at the Federation of Australia in 1901 as the Commonwealth Public Service and modelled on the Westminster system and United Kingdom's Civil Service.
