Davinder Singh Kharoud (born 22 April 1989) better known as Dev Kharoud, is an Indian actor who works in Punjabi cinema. He is best known for playing the role of Rupinder Gandhi in Rupinder Gandhi The Gangster and He played the role of Mintu Gurusaria in the 2018 film Dakuan Da Munda .[ citation needed ]
Kharoud started his career as a theatre artist with Bhagwant Mann as comedian and played various roles on stage under the direction of theatre legends like Balraj Pandit, Rajesh Sharma, Samuel John, etc. He has appeared in Punjabi teleserials as well.
In 2012, he was in the news for essaying a character inspired by Balwant Singh Rajoana in the movie Sadda Haq . [1] [2] Kharoud also appeared in the title role of the movie Rupinder Gandhi – The Gangster..?. He also played the character of Rupinder Gandhi in its sequel Rupinder Gandhi 2 - The Robinhood.
He played the lead role in Dakuan Da Munda , a film based on the autobiography of gangster turned writer Mintu Gurusaria. [3]

Tejinder Singh "Babbu" Maan is an Indian singer-songwriter, music director, actor and film producer. Most of his artistic work focuses on Punjabi music and films. He is recognised as being among the biggest artists in Punjabi music.
Sadda Haq is a 2013 Indian Punjabi-language film directed by Mandeep Benipal set in the late 1980s and early 1990s during the Punjab insurgency. It portrays filmmakers' perception of what prompted young men in the state to rise and fight against what was a corrupt police and government system. The film evoked polarising reactions even before it was released, with sections of the Sikh community saying that it depicted the real face of police atrocities. Critics on the other hand felt that the film was a mere "glorification" of terrorists.

The movie is directed by Mandeep Benipal, Associate Director Vinod Kumar and features Dev Kharoud, Jagjeet Sandhu, Sukhdeep Sukh and Pooja Verma in lead characters along with Lucky Dhaliwal and Hardeep Gill. The film was released on 10 August 2018.
