The 9th PTC Punjabi Film Awards ceremony, presented by PTC Punjabi, honored the best Punjabi films of 2018, and took place at JLPL Ground, Mohali on 16 March 2019. The ceremony is conducted by Sonu Sood, Divya Dutta, Manish Paul, Gavy Chahal and Gurnam Bhullar. [1] [2]

It was produced by Gurdas, Manjeet's husband, and their son Gurikk Maan. It has been made by Maan's own production company - Sai Lok Sangeet, with the screenplay by Irshad Kamil, music by Jaidev Kumar and lyrics written by Gurdas Maan. Filmfare Awards Punjabi are presented to the best films and performers in Punjabi cinema. The Awards were first presented in 2017.

The 10th PTC Punjabi Film Awards ceremony, presented by PTC Punjabi, honored the best Punjabi films of 2019, and will be held online. It is the first time the award is being held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The curtain raiser for the awards was held on 29 May 2020 on PTC Punjabi. The award ceremony was online on 3 July 2020, and was hosted by Gurpreet Ghuggi, Divya Dutta, Harish Verma, and Gurnam Bhullar. Ardaas Karaan won the most six awards, including Best Film, Best Actor and Best Director, followed by Chal Mera Putt, which won three awards including Best Comedy Film and Best Actor critics'.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">PTC Award for Best Actor</span>

The PTC Punjabi Film Awards award for Best Actor is an award, begun in 2011, presented annually at the PTC Awards to an actor via a jury. This is given by PTC Punjabi as part of its annual PTC Awards for Punjabi (Pollywood) films. As of 2020, Diljit Dosanjh lead the list, with five wins, followed by Amrinder Gill and Gippy Grewal.
