Dichelopa castanopis is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found on the Marquesas Archipelago in French Polynesia [2] [3] [4] with records only from Ua Pou. [4] In the original species description, also specimens from Hiva Oa were included, [1] but in 1986, J. F. Gates Clarke described the population on Hiva Oa as a distinct species, Dichelopa flexura . [4]

The wingspan is 16–30 mm (0.63–1.18 in) for females. [1]
