Dichelopa castanopis is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found on the Marquesas Archipelago in French Polynesia^[2]^[3]^[4] with records only from Ua Pou.^[4] In the original species description, also specimens from Hiva Oa were included, ^[1] but in 1986, J. F. Gates Clarke described the population on Hiva Oa as a distinct species, Dichelopa flexura .^[4]

The wingspan is 16–30 mm (0.63–1.18 in) for females.^[1]
