Alec Empire is a German experimental electronic musician who is best known as a founding member of the band Atari Teenage Riot, as well as a prolific and distinguished solo artist, producer and DJ. He has released many albums, EPs and singles, some under aliases, and remixed over seventy tracks for various artists including Björk. He was also the driving force behind the creation of the digital hardcore genre, and founded the record labels Digital Hardcore Recordings and Eat Your Heart Out Records.
Rarities is a compilation album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released from 10 February 1995 by EMI exclusively in Southeast Asia and South America. The record is composed of previously released b-sides, demos, single mixes and remixes, as well as several songs from the duo's 1993 performance for MTV Unplugged. As of 2001, the compilation has sold in excess of a million copies worldwide.
The Mad Capsule Markets were a Japanese band that formed in 1985 and were active until 2006. The band became known for their experimental style, which melded various kinds of electronic music and punk rock.
The Shizit was a digital hardcore act from Seattle, Washington, USA, initially formed by J.P. Anderson and Brian Shrader in early 1999. The music was an intense mix of gabber, breakbeat, drum and bass, hardcore techno, hardcore and heavy metal guitars, amped up with aggressive political lyrics. The band released two CDs on mp3.com, and as it was spread quickly among underground sources, the band steadily built up their following. In 2001, they began work on their third album, Soundtrack for the Revolution; The album was finally released at E115 Records, a Canadian indie label later that year, and tracks from it were released on Alec Empire's "Don't Fuck With US" compilation. The band also joined Alec on his European tour, and the band added turntablist Jason Alberts. In 2003, the band announced they were disbanding due to personal disputes between Anderson and Shrader. A posthumous album was released on D-Trash Records, with artists remixing the Soundtrack for the Revolution album as Remixed for the Revolution.
Balzac is a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1992 in Kyoto. The band was founded by singer and songwriter Hirosuke Nishiyama, who has remained the only constant member of the band since its creation. Since the beginning, Balzac was highly influenced by the sound and image of the American horror punk band Misfits and, especially during the very early years, Glenn Danzig's Samhain, adopting and combining the musical and visual style of both bands to create their own. Balzac's lyrics, though not always serious in tone, often deal with themes of darkness, loneliness and fear.

Mix-ism earned The Mad Capsule Markets their first high rated album on the charts and featured the band experimenting and branching out, showing a more melodious sound overall. The album has a very dark feel to it compared to other releases, mainly coming from the lyrical themes featured. The album was also recorded in England.
The Mad Capsule Market's is a compilation album by Japanese rock band The Mad Capsule Markets. All of the songs have been re-recorded and two have been remixed. On this version of "HI-SIDE", the band displayed more experimentation with the English language and "Walk!!" was remixed by respected dub artist Adrian Sherwood. This was the last album that guitarist Ai Ishigaki played on, and he was later replaced by support guitarist TORUxxx.

Osc-Dis or Oscillator in Distortion is the eighth album by Japanese band The Mad Capsule Markets. It was released in Japan in 1999 and released outside Japan in 2001. Osc-Dis was the band's breakthrough album and finally got them recognized overseas, with the single "Pulse". The album mixes industrial metal, industrial rock and punk rock with various kinds of electronic music. It was more melodic than their previous album and included elements of pop punk. There are vocal contributions from Hirosuke from Balzac, Yamada from Geronimo, and Katsya from NND. This album also saw the birth of the band's mascots The White Crusher and The Cyborn.
010 is the ninth studio album by Japanese band The Mad Capsule Markets. It was released in Japan in 2001 and in the United Kingdom in 2003. The album was much more experimental than the band's previous two albums. It includes a cover of the song "Wardance" by Killing Joke.
020120 is a live album from The Mad Capsule Markets. It was recorded live on January 20, 2002 at Zepp Tokyo. The music is basically material from the Osc-Dis and the 010 albums, but it did include a faster version of Kami-Uta as an encore track and for the intro tape, the show opens with Crass' song Gotcha. The UK version issued the live DVD alongside the CD with a slightly altered track listing from the Japanese version but it made the fanbase of The Mad Capsule Markets much stronger.
The Mad Capsule Markets 1997–2004 is third compilation album by The Mad Capsule Markets. This album features a collection of hits from Digidogheadlock to Cistm Konfliqt.... Songs were re-mastered by Takeshi Ueda for the release. Changes include extended intros to Asphalt-Beach and Bit Crusherrrr and an added scream to Scary as the song gets faster. In the UK edition the DVD was included with the disc instead of the two being sold separately as they are in Japan. The DVD features the re-mastered tracks dubbed over the original videos.

Shards of Pol-Pottery: The 2001 Remixes is an EP by Alec Empire and El-P, the title track of which is a re-production of the song "Megaton B-Boy" from the 1999 Handsome Boy Modelling School album So... How's Your Girl?. The EP contains 12 different versions of the songs including remixes, instrumentals and an a cappella.
Atari Teenage Riot: 1992–2000 is a greatest hits compilation by the seminal digital hardcore band Atari Teenage Riot. The album was released on band member Alec Empire's Digital Hardcore Recordings on 3 July 2006 and features 18 tracks from the band's back catalogue.

Artificial Horizon is a compilation album of remixed tracks by rock band U2. It was released exclusively to subscribing members of U2.com, replacing Medium, Rare & Remastered. The remix CD is of a similar vein to the band's 1995 release Melon: Remixes for Propaganda, which was also released exclusively to fans. A triple-vinyl edition was released to the general public until 14 May 2010; this version included an MP3 for the Snow Patrol remix of the song "Unknown Caller".
Who Killed Idol? is the third studio album by Japanese idol group BiS, released on March 5, 2014. It is the last studio album released by the group before they disbanded in July 2014, and the only studio album to feature members First Summer Uika, Tentenko, Saki Kamiya and Megumi Koshouji. The album was released following a period of multiple changes in the BiS lineup, resulting in some tracks featuring members that were no longer part of the group by the time the album was released. The album continues the basic style of their previous albums, but shows more variety in the various styles of rock and pop featured in the tracks: "STUPiG" showcases a digital hardcore sound, "Hi" takes a step into upbeat punk rock, and "MURA-MURA" ventures into SKA-core. The pattern of including a cover track is continued, with "Primal" by The Yellow Monkey being included as the final track. The original version of this track also happened to be the last song The Yellow Monkey released before they disbanded, adding to its significance in the album.
Atom Miraiha No.9 is the twentieth studio album by Japanese rock band Buck-Tick released on September 28, 2016. It is the first album released after Lingua Sounda was made a sub-label of Victor, making it their first album since 1996's Cosmos to be released through Victor. Takeshi Ueda of AA= and The Mad Capsule Markets performs as a guest on the track "Pinoa Icchio -Odoru Atom-".
