Digitech Studio School is the first studio school in the wider Bristol area. It opened in 2015 and moved to a new building in Warmley, Gloucestershire in 2016. [1] It is part of the Cabot Learning Federation. [2]
It takes students from 14 to 19 years old. [3]
In 2017 Ofsted rated the school as "requiring improvement", but the school improved to "Good" by its next inspection in 2021. [4] [5]
John Cabot Academy is one of 15 City Technology Colleges that first opened for students in the 1993/1994 academic year. It has since converted to Academy status on 1 September 2007. It is located east of Bristol, England in the Kingswood area of South Gloucestershire and is named after John Cabot, an explorer who set out from Bristol and reached the Americas in 1497. The academy has 1,078 students, about 220 of whom are in the sixth form.
