Dimitra Korokida is a Greek Paralympic athlete. [1] She represented Greece at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the bronze medal in the women's shot put F53 event. [1] [2]

She won the silver medal in the women's javelin throw F52/F53 event at the 2013 World Championships held in Lyon, France. Two years later, she won the gold medal in the women's shot put F53 event at the 2015 World Championships held in Doha, Qatar. [3]

She also competed at the 2016 European Championships held in Grosseto, Italy winning the silver medal in the women's shot put F53/F54 event.

She was awarded as the Best Greek female athlete with a disability for 2015 and 2016. [4] [5]

During the 2015 season, she set five Greek records raising the bar to 4,83 meters. The same year, she became the first Greek athlete to win the IAAF Diamond League.

Deepa Malik is an Indian athlete. She started her career at the age of 30. She is the first Indian woman to win a medal in Paralympic Games and won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in shot put. She also won gold in the F-53/54 Javelin event at the para athletic Grand Prix held in Dubai in 2018. She is currently the world number one in the F-53 category. She has won accolades for her participation in various adventure sports. She is associated with Himalayan Motorsports Association (H.M.A.) and Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (F.M.S.C.I.). She has undertaken an 8-day, 1,700-km drive in sub-zero temperatures which included a climb to 18,000 feet (5,500 m). It was – Raid De Himalaya. This journey covers many difficult paths including remote Himalayas, Leh, Shimla and Jammu.

Aristeidis Makrodimitris is a Greek Paralympic swimmer. He won three medals at the 2012 Paralympic Games, two bronze in the 50m and 100m freestyle and a silver in the 50m backstroke. He competes in the class S2.

Anna Korakaki is a Greek Olympic shooter.

Manolis Stefanoudakis is a Paralympian athlete from Greece who competes in category F54 throwing events. He won a bronze and a gold medal in the javelin throw at the 2012 and 2016 Paralympics, respectively.

Nikolaos Pananos, born on 29 March 1968 in Athens, is a Greek boccia player with a Paralympic boccia classification of BC3. His specific disability is cerebral palsy. He won the gold medal during the 2012 Summer Paralympics in BC3 mixed pairs along with Maria-Eleni Kordali and Grigorios Polychronidis. In the 2016 Summer Paralympics he won the bronze medal at the same event.

Martha Sandoval Gustafson is a Mexican-Canadian Paralympic medallist in table tennis, swimming, and athletics. As a Mexican Paralympian, Gustafson won a total of twelve medals, which includes three golds at the 1976 Summer Paralympics and two golds and the 1980 Summer Paralympics. After she moved to Canada in 1981, Gustafson won six golds and one silver at the 1984 Summer Paralympics for Canada. In 2020, Gustafson became part of the Canadian Disability Hall of Fame.

Rima Abdelli is a Tunisian Paralympic athlete of short stature and she competes in F40-classification events. She represented Tunisia at the 2016 Summer Paralympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the silver medal in the women's shot put F40 event. In 2019, she qualified to represent Tunisia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Fathia Amaimia is a Tunisian Paralympic athlete of short stature. She competes in F41-classification throwing events. She represented Tunisia at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the bronze medal in the women's discus throw F41 event. She also competed in the women's shot put F41 event where she finished in 6th place.

Fatema Nedham is a Paralympic athlete from Bahrain. She is the first female Paralympic athlete to win a medal at the Summer Paralympics for Bahrain. She represented the country at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and she won the gold medal in the women's shot put F53 event with a throw of 4.76 metres. She was also the flag bearer for her country during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Paralympics.
