Daniel Repacholi is an Australian sport shooter and politician who has competed at four Olympic Games. He is a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and was elected as a member for the New South Wales seat of Hunter in the 2022 election following the retirement of Joel Fitzgibbon.
Nino Salukvadze is a Georgian sport shooter. She is a ten-time Olympian, the record for appearances by a female athlete and tying Canadian showjumper Ian Millar for the most for any athlete. Salukvadze has won medals on three occasions, while competing on three different Olympic teams – for the Soviet Union in 1988, then the Unified Team at Barcelona in 1992 after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and lastly for Georgia beginning in 1996.
Zorana Arunović is a Serbian sport shooter. She won 10 metre air pistol event at the 2010 World Shooting Championships and was later named Serbian Sportswoman of The Year by the Olympic Committee of Serbia. She also won individual gold medals in 10 m air pistol event at 2017 European Championships, and 2015 and 2019 European Games. She won Serbia's first ever gold medal in shooting at the Olympics in 2024 with Damir Mikec in the 10 meter air pistol mixed category.

Heidi Diethelm Gerber is a Swiss female sport shooter. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 10 metre air pistol and the Women's 25 metre pistol. She finished in 35th in the 10 metre air pistol event and in 29th in the 25 metre event. At the 2016 Summer Olympics she won the bronze medal in the 25 metre pistol and was 35th in the 10 metre air pistol.
Sandra Uptagrafft is an American sport shooter. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 10 metre air pistol, and finished in 28th place. She also competed in the Women's 25 metre pistol event and also finished 28th in that. She has won gold and silver medals in the Pan American Games.
Natalie Smith is an Australian Paralympic shooter. At the 2012 Summer Paralympics, she won a bronze medal. She also represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, 2020 Tokyo Paralympics and 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Galina Vasilyevna Belyayeva is a Russian-Kazakhstani sport shooter. She has competed for Kazakhstan in pistol shooting at two Olympics, and has been close to an Olympic medal in 1996. Outside her Olympic career, Belyayeva has produced a career tally of six medals in a major competition: a bronze in air pistol at the 1994 World Championships in Milan, Italy and five more at numerous meets of the ISSF World Cup series.
Linda Maree Ryan is an Australian sport shooter. She has been selected to compete for Australia in two editions of the Olympic Games, and has collected a total of thirteen medals in a major international competition, spanning the ISSF World Cup series, the Oceanian Championships, and the Commonwealth Games. Ryan also trains under head coach Anatoliy Babushkin for the national team, while shooting at her home club, Outtrim Pistol Club in South Gippsland, Victoria.

Four Omani athletes, two men and two women, were selected to compete in athletics and shooting at the Games. Among them were sprinter Barakat Al-Harthi, the lone returning Olympian from the previous Games.
