The Batong Line of the Beijing Subway is an east–west rapid transit line in eastern Beijing. It extends Line 1 further east from Sihui in Chaoyang District to Huazhuang in Tongzhou District.

The Puxi section of the road was completely grade-separated and complete in 1994, while the Pudong section of the road was completely grade-separated in 2009. Before the grade separation in Pudong, the road ran at street level, with traffic lights at intersections.
The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway System is a regional higher-speed rail and commuter rail network being gradually constructed in the Pearl River Delta, People's Republic of China. The project's goal is to have every major urban center in the Yuegang'ao Greater Bay Area to be within one-hour travel by rail to Guangzhou. On March 16, 2005, the State Council approved plans for a regional high-speed commuter rail network for the Jingjinji, Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan, by 2020, the network will have a total route mileage of about 600 kilometres (370 mi). In September 2009, the plan was expanded to 1,478 km (918 mi) of routes split up into 23 lines. In the long term vision network length will reach 1,890 km (1,170 mi) by 2030. By then the network will provide basic coverage to the Pearl River Delta region. The Suishen ICR, Guanhui ICR and Guangfozhao ICR accept Alipay, avoiding the need to purchase tickets in advance.
Line 3 of the Harbin Metro is a rapid transit line in Harbin, running from Harbinxizhan to Yidaeryuan. The line is 5.45 km long with 5 stations, all of which are underground, and it commenced operations on 26 January 2017.
Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone is a commercial development in Shenzhen, Guangdong that is also known as Qianhai New District. Located in Nanshan District and encircled by the Shuangjie River, Yueliangwan Boulevard, Mawan Boulevard and Qianhai Bay, Qianhai covers an area of approximately 15 square kilometres (5.8 sq mi), comprising almost entirely reclaimed land. The project is expected to be completed by 2020.
Harbin–Mudanjiang intercity railway is a high-speed railway in Heilongjiang Province, China, between the cities Harbin and Mudanjiang. It is a Passenger Dedicated Line (PDL), with a design speed of 250 km/h and a total length 293.2 km. Starting in Harbin, it leads east to Acheng, into mountains at Maoershan, to Shangzhi, again through the mountains to the southeast, Weihe, Yabuli, Hengdaohezi, Hailin and on to the end at Mudanjiang station. Future proposals for this line could see it extended across the border into Russia and the Russian port city of Vladivostok.
Guangzhou–Shenzhen intercity railway or Suishen intercity railway is a commuter railway in the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong, China. The construction route traces roughly along the east bank of the Pearl River, connecting Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. It will feature a length of 73.996 km from Xintang South to Shenzhen Airport, operating at a top speed of 140 km/h using CRH6A trains.

Nanhai Boulevard is a major north-south thoroughfare in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. It runs from the southern tip of Nantou Peninsula near Shekou Passenger Terminal north to the junction of Guangshen Expressway where it becomes Tongle Road which extends into Nanping Expressway. It spans about 8 kilometers in length. It was formed by merging Nanyou Boulevard (南油大道), Gongye Boulevard (工业大道) and Qilin Road (麒麟路) in 2004.

It serves as a faster parallel corridor to the existing mixed passenger freight Xiamen–Shenzhen railway. The line has a total length of 162 kilometers with 7 stations. It will have a design speed of 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph) and is expected to open in 2023.
