Dorycera judea is a species of ulidiid or picture-winged fly in the genus Dorycera of the family Ulidiidae. [1] [2] [3]
Samaria is the ancient, historic biblical name used for the central region of Palestine, bordered by Judea to the south and Galilee to the north. The first-century historian Josephus set the Mediterranean Sea as its limit to the west, and the Jordan River as its limit to the east. Its territory largely corresponds to the biblical allotments of the tribe of Ephraim and the western half of Manasseh.
