Douglas Franklin Martin (born February 4, 1963) is an American football coach and former quarterback. He is the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach for the Memphis Showboats of the United Football League (UFL). He was the head football coach for Kent State University from 2004 to 2010 and New Mexico State University from 2013 to 2021. He played college football at Kentucky for coach Fran Curci and Jerry Claiborne from 1981 to 1984.
In 1992, Martin became an assistant coach at East Carolina University. He coached the Pirates tight ends and special teams his first two years and then took over the wide receivers. In 1996, he was promoted to offensive coordinator, a position he held until 2002.
In 2004, Martin succeeded Dean Pees as head coach of the Kent State Golden Flashes football team. In his seven seasons in Kent, Martin had an overall record of 29–53. He resigned after the 2010 season finale win against Ohio University.
Martin was announced as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the New Mexico State Aggies on March 9, 2011.
Martin was named offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Boston College by head coach Frank Spaziani on December 22, 2011. [1]
In 2013, Martin was named head coach of the Aggies. In his first season, he led them to a 2-10 record, a one-game improvement from the previous year. He led them to the same record the following year. He led them to 3-9 records in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he led them to a 6-6 record. This was the first time the Aggies were bowl eligible since 2002. The Aggies were invited to the 2017 Arizona Bowl, their first bowl game appearance since 1960. Of the 18 head coaches of the program over its history, he is only the eighth to have lasted five full seasons and the first in the 21st century. In 2017, Martin ended the 57-year bowl drought at NMSU by defeating Utah State at the Arizona Bowl. In 2021, Aggies athletic director Mario Moccia said after New Mexico State (2-10) ended its regular season by beating UMass that Martin's contract, which is set to expire after the season, would not be renewed. Joshua Kenneth Heupel is an American college football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Tennessee. Previously he was head coach at the University of Central Florida, where he compiled a 28–8 record.
Chris Palmer is an American former football coach and college athletics administrator. Palmer served as the head coach for Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL) from 1999 to 2000 and in the same capacity with the Hartford Colonials of the United Football League (UFL) in 2010. He was the head football coach at the University of New Haven from 1986 to 1987 and at Boston University from 1988 to 1989. Palmer has also served as an assistant coach with the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Houston Oilers, Tennessee Titans and the Buffalo Bills of the NFL. He later returned to the University of New Haven and served as the athletic director from 2018 to 2019.
David Patrick Ragone is an American football coach and former quarterback who currently serves as quarterbacks coach for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons and also served as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins and Tennessee Titans.
Nicholas Robert Rolovich is an American former football coach and player. He was most recently the head football coach at Washington State University (WSU). Rolovich majored in economics at the University of Hawaii, and received a master's degree at New Mexico Highlands University. He was a quarterback with the Las Vegas Gladiators in the Arena Football League (AFL).

He previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Tennessee, University of Southern California, University of Kentucky, University of New Mexico, North Atlanta HS, North Cobb HS and Morehouse College.
Robert Charles "Bob" Saunders is an American football coach. Saunders has served as an Offensive Assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs, Washington Redskins, St. Louis Rams, and Cleveland Browns. He served two seasons as wide receivers coach in the United Football League with the Virginia Destroyers. In college football, he was Offensive Coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Kansas Wesleyan University and at Oberlin College as well as the quarterbacks coach at Washington University in St. Louis. Saunders has been selected as receivers coach for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on three occasions. Saunders played collegiate football at Southern Methodist University. He is the son of longtime NFL offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Al Saunders, whom he worked with in Cleveland. He also served as the wide receivers coach for the DC Defenders of the defunct XFL. Saunders was no longer a part of the Memphis Showboats staff after the XFL and USFL Merger.
Sonny Jack Cumbie is an American football coach and former quarterback. He is the head football coach at Louisiana Tech University, a position he has held since the 2022 season. Cumbie previously served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Tech University and was the interim head coach after the departure of Matt Wells in 2021. He also served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Christian University (TCU). Cumbie played college football at Texas Tech and was the team's starting quarterback during the 2004 season, when he led the nation in passing and total offense and a guided the Red Raiders to win in the 2004 Holiday Bowl, earning MVP honors for the game. Cumbie played professionally in the Arena Football League (AFL), the Indoor Football League (IFL), and briefly in the National Football League (NFL).

Gregg Brandon is an American football coach and player. He was most recently the head football coach at the Colorado School of Mines, a position he had held from 2015 until his retirement after the 2021 season. Prior to that, he was the offensive coordinator at New Mexico State University and coached tight ends in the United Football League (UFL) for the Las Vegas Locomotives. He also spent two years as the offensive coordinator at the University of Wyoming and was offensive coordinator for the Virginia Cavaliers for the duration of the 2009 season. He was head coach for the Bowling Green Falcons, but was fired following the conclusion of the 2008 season, after six years at the helm, which included three bowl appearances and shares of two division titles. Brandon had previously been an assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Bowling Green under head coach Urban Meyer before Meyer left for the University of Utah in 2003.

Brian Delance Johnson is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He has been an offensive coordinator for Utah, Houston, and Florida of the NCAA and the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. Johnson played college football at Utah and was drafted by the New York Sentinels in the UFL Premiere Season Draft in 2009.

Matthew Scribner Wells is an American football coach and former quarterback who currently serves as Associate Head Coach, Co-Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Kansas State. Wells previously served as the offensive coordinator and then head coach at Utah State University, where he was named Mountain West conference coach of the year in 2013 and again in 2018. He was named head coach of Texas Tech on November 29, 2018, and led the team until his firing midway through the 2021 season. He also served as an offensive analyst for Oklahoma under Head Coach Brent Venables during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Jerry Mack is an American college football coach and former player. He is the running backs coach at the University of Tennessee, a position he has held since 2021. Mack served as the head football coach at North Carolina Central University from 2014 to 2017, compiling a record of 31–15 in four seasons. He was the offensive coordinator and associate football head coach at Rice University prior to his hiring at Tennessee. Mack played college football as a wide receiver at Jackson State University and Arkansas State University.
The 2017 Utah State Aggies football team represented Utah State University in the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aggies were led by fifth-year head coach Matt Wells and played their home games at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium. They competed as members of the Mountain Division of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 6–7, 4–4 in Mountain West play to finish in a tie for fourth place in the Mountain Division. They were invited to the Arizona Bowl where they lost to New Mexico State.

He was the head football coach at Pittsburg State University from 2020 to 2023. He was the interim head football coach for Florida Atlantic University in 2013. He also coached for Wooster, Walsh, Youngstown State, Montana State, Florida Atlantic, and Toledo. He played college football for Wooster as wide receiver.

He played college football at Southern Illinois before starting a coaching career that spanned from 1981–2012 with North Mecklenburg High School, Southern Illinois, Davidson, Akron, Washington State, Arizona, North Carolina, the Philadelphia Eagles, Wake Forest, the Carolina Cobras, Indiana, Kentucky, Baylor, Buffalo, Southern, and the Virginia Destroyers.
