Kasinadhuni Viswanath, popularly known as "Kalatapasvi", was an Indian film director, screenwriter, lyricist and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. One of the greatest auteurs of Indian cinema, he received international recognition for his works, and is known for blending parallel cinema with mainstream cinema. He was honuored with the "Prize of the Public" at the "Besançon Film Festival of France" in 1981. In 1992, he received the Andhra Pradesh state Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and the civilian honour Padma Shri for his contribution to the field of arts. In 2017, he was conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest award in Indian cinema.
Veturi Sundararama Murthy, known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades.

Sistla Janaki is an Indian playback singer and occasional music composer from Andhra Pradesh. She is widely referred to respectfully as "Janaki Amma" and Nightingale of South India. Allu Ramalingaiah was an Indian character actor, comedian, and producer known for his works in Telugu cinema. In 1990, he was honoured with the Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema. In 1998, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award - South, and the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001. Ramalingaiah appeared in over 1000 films in a variety of roles. The "Allu Ramalingaiah National Award" was instituted in his memory by the "Allu Ramalingaiah Academy of Arts". The award is presented every year to a Telugu film personality for life time achievement.
Edida Nageswara Rao was an Indian film producer in Telugu cinema. He produced films with a classical and realistic touch under the banner, Poornodaya Movie Creations. Almost all of the films he produced went on to win National Film Awards. He won five state Nandi Awards.

He was also one of the MPs who were suspended for protesting in Indian Parliament against the bifurcation of the state. Pudipeddi Jogeswara Sarma was an Indian film dubbing artist, turned actor and writer, known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has worked for over 500 films as an actor and dubbing artist. He is the father of actors P. Sai Kumar, P. Ravi Shankar and Ayyappa P. Sarma.
Jyothi was an Indian actress who appeared in South Indian films. She acted in over 50 films. She is known for films like Puthukavithai and Rail Payanangalil. Jyothi made a mark in acting through Vijaya T. Rajendher's Rayil Payanangalil and Rajinikanth starrer Puthu Kavithai.
