Kasinadhuni Viswanath was an Indian film director, screenwriter, lyricist and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. One of the greatest auteurs of Indian cinema, he received international recognition for his works, and is known for blending parallel cinema with mainstream cinema. He was honuored with the "Prize of the Public" at the "Besançon Film Festival of France" in 1981. In 1992, he received the Andhra Pradesh state Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and the civilian honour Padma Shri for his contribution to the field of arts. In 2016, he was conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest award in Indian cinema. He is popularly known as "Kalatapasvi."

Sistla Janaki is an Indian playback singer and occasional music composer from Andhra Pradesh. She is widely referred to as Janaki Amma and Nightingale of South India. Dasari Narayana Rao was an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, producer, lyricist, and politician, primarily known for his work in Telugu cinema. Over his four decade career, he directed more than 150 feature films, earning a Limca World Record for directing the most films in the world. He was known by the epithet "Darsaka Ratna" and was recognized for addressing social issues such as gender discrimination, casteism, corruption and injustice through his films. Narayana Rao received numerous accolades, including two National Film Awards, 16 Nandi Awards including the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and five Filmfare Awards South including the Lifetime Achievement.

Naramalli Sivaprasad was an Indian film actor turned politician, belonging to Telugu Desam Party. In the 2009 election he was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Chittoor constituency in Andhra Pradesh. Jyothi was an Indian actress who appeared in South Indian films. She acted in over 50 films. She is known for films like Puthukavithai and Rail Payanangalil. Jyothi made a mark in acting through Vijaya T. Rajendher's Rayil Payanangalil and Rajinikanth starrer Puthu Kavithai.
Yenigandla Vijaya is an Indian actress and classical dancer. She has appeared in more than 1400 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
