"Dude" is the first single by Jamaican musician Beenie Man from his sixteenth studio album, Back to Basics . It features Ms. Thing and was produced and written by Dave Kelly. The song is enhanced by the use of a vocoder [1] and is on the Fiesta riddim.
"Dude" was originally released in Jamaica by Dave Kelly's Mad House label in summer 2003, before being released internationally by Virgin Records in 2004. [2] "Dude" became a top-ten hit in the United Kingdom and a top-forty hit in Italy and the United States. The music video uses the remix of the song, which features American rapper Shawnna.

An uptempo hip hop song built for the club environment, it features Fat Joe with Remy Ma handling the second verse. "Drop It Like It's Hot" is a single by American rapper Snoop Dogg featuring American singer and producer Pharrell Williams. Snoop Dogg performs the chorus and the second and third verses, while Pharrell performs the first verse. Pharrell's verse includes a line from "Raspy Shit", which was produced by The Neptunes and contains vocal samples from Laid Back's "White Horse". Part of "White Horse"'s production is sampled in "Drop It Like It's Hot" as well.
