Piscataway is an unincorporated community in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. It is one of the oldest European-colonized communities in the state. The Piscataway Creek provided sea transportation for export of tobacco. It is located near the prior Piscataway tribe village of Kittamaqundi.

It contains roughly 100 historic structures, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located primarily along East Main Street, a portion of Love Point Road, and a former section of Cockey Lane.
The Union Chapel, now known as St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, is a historic church located near Glenwood, Howard County, Maryland, United States. It is a rectangular two-story building of stuccoed stone construction painted pastel yellow completed in 1833 for $1,459. To the rear of the chapel is the attractively landscaped non-sectarian Oak Grove Cemetery. Charles Dorsey Warfield, a member of the prominent Warfield family that settled this region, deeded the property to the residents of the area for non-denominational church and community use. The building was constructed for $5,040 In 1886, it became part of the Methodist church circuit.

The Lawyers Hill Historic District is a national historic district located at Elkridge, Howard County, Maryland. The district encompasses a broad array of architectural styles ranging from 1738 Georgian Colonial to 1941 Georgian Revival. The collection of Victorian domestic architecture built during the 1840s to 1880s is unparalleled in the county, with no two houses the same. Some of the later cottages were designed by Philadelphia architect Brognard Okie. There are variations of the American Gothic Revival form, Italianate, Queen Anne, and Shingle-style structures. There is also a range of Colonial Revival houses, from craftsman era rustic cottages to more formal Georgian, and mass-produced Dutch Colonial models from the early 20th century.
The Wesley Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church in Eldersburg, Maryland is a characteristic small church of the period, with uncoursed stone rubble construction and a simple plan. The interior is a single barrel-vaulted room. It was erected to serve one of the earliest Methodist congregations in Carroll County, and hence in the United States, as Carroll County was a birthplace of Methodism in America.
Baldwin Hall, also known as the Cross Roads Church, was built as the Severn Crossroads Methodist Episcopal Church and is currently a historic church at Millersville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is a one-story gable-front frame structure in the Italianate and Carpenter Gothic-styles built in 1861. It was moved about 1930 and again in 1981. An addition, constructed about 1933, duplicates the exterior detailing of the original part. It is currently operated by the Severn Cross Roads Foundation, Inc., as a wedding and banquet facility known as Historic Baldwin Hall.
Mt. Tabor Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, is an historic church located at 1421 St. Stephens Church Road, in Crownsville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The wood-frame building was constructed in 1893. It is rectangular in plan and features a bell tower projecting from the gable front. The bell tower was added between 1923 and 1929 by Henry and John Queen. Also on the property is the Mt. Tabor Good Samaritan Lodge No. 59.
The Epiphany Chapel and Church House is a historic church at Odenton, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story gable-roofed frame building constructed in 1918 and laid out in cruciform plan in the Arts and Crafts style. It is significant for its association with the mobilization of the United States military for World War I, since it was constructed adjacent to Camp Meade, a major training camp for troops bound for the Western Front in Europe. Its design was an early work of the prominent Baltimore architect Riggin T. Buckler (1882-1955) of the partnership/firm of Sill, Buckler & Fenhagen.
St. Paul's Chapel is an historic Carpenter Gothic style Episcopal church at Crownsville, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It is a small board-and-batten frame church composed of a simple rectangular nave, a small entrance porch, a small deep chancel, and two very small utility sections added to the sides of the chancel. There is a small cemetery on the property dating from the 1860s. It may be an example of a church built by following plans of Richard Upjohn, the noted 19th-century American architect.
Mountain Lake Park Historic District is a national historic district in Mountain Lake Park, Garrett County, Maryland. It consists of a group of 145 buildings lying within the town, which was launched in the 1880s as a summer resort and important as a center of the Chautauqua movement in Maryland. The district still includes many of the houses built by summer residents of town in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, built in various interpretations of the "Country Gothic" or Rural Queen Anne styles. Also within the district are several of the educational and recreational buildings constructed by the Mountain Lake Park Association, the Methodist-led group which owned and managed the town for many years after its founding in 1881.

It is a 1+1⁄2-story, brick dwelling, three bays wide, and one room deep with a hall-parlor plan in the 18th century Tidewater Maryland/Virginia vernacular style It was built about 1711. The facades are laid in Flemish bond and the upper gables feature glazed chevron patterns.
The Capt. John H. Ozmon Store is a historic general store located at Centreville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland. It is a two-story brick building constructed about 1880 into the side of a steep bank, with the store occupying the lower story and a dwelling on the second floor. Captain Ozmon was a prominent local merchant who built a considerable business transporting grain, lumber, and other merchandise by sailing schooner between Baltimore, Norfolk, and points on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

The complex consists of St. John's Methodist Episcopal Church, an 1879 frame Gothic building; Joshua Thomas Chapel, an 1850 Greek Revival frame structure; and the surrounding cemetery with 19th and 20th century burials and markers. The church features a three-story bell tower. The chapel is the oldest site in Somerset County in continuous use for Methodist meetings, which began in tents in 1828.

Green Spring Valley Historic District is a national historic district near Stevenson in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. It is a suburban area of Baltimore that acquires significance from the collection of 18th, 19th, and early 20th century buildings. The park-like setting retains a late 19th-early 20th century atmosphere. At the turn of the 20th century, the Maryland Hunt Cup and the Grand National Maryland steeplechase races were run over various parts of the valley. The Maryland Hunt Cup, which began as a competition between the Green Spring Valley Hunt and the Elkridge Hunt, traditionally started at Brooklandwood, the previous home of Charles Carrol of Carrollton with the finish across Valley Road at Oakdene, at that time the home of Thomas Deford, which remains a private residence
