The EP is an extension of the group's second studio album, Doll Domination (2008), including some previously released singles, such as "When I Grow Up", "Whatcha Think About That" and "I Hate This Part", as well as three new songs. The Mini Collection was one of several reissues released throughout 2009 as further promotion for the Doll Domination era, being released in between the European and Australasian legs of the group's Doll Domination Tour. It debuted at number nine on both the Scottish Albums Chart and UK Albums Chart, and would go on to be certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for sales of at least 100,000 in the UK.

7 is the second extended play (EP) and major label debut by American rapper and singer Lil Nas X. The EP was released on June 21, 2019, by Columbia Records. It was preceded by the Billboard Hot 100 number one single "Old Town Road", "Panini", and "Rodeo". The extended play features guest appearances from Cyrus, Travis Barker, and Cardi B. Despite receiving a mixed reception from critics, 7 received six Grammy Award nominations, including a nomination for Album of the Year. Die a Legend is the debut studio album by American rapper Polo G. It was released on June 7, 2019, by Columbia Records. It features his US top 20 single "Pop Out" featuring Lil Tjay, as well as the sequel to the track titled "Pop Out Again" featuring Lil Baby and Gunna. The songs "Finer Things", "Battle Cry" and "Deep Wounds" were also released prior to the album. The album received acclaim from music critics.
