Dying to Say This to You is the second studio album in English by Swedish new wave group The Sounds. It was released on 15 March 2006 in Sweden and 21 March 2006 in the United States. The album blends Swedish-influenced new wave music with a sassy and spunky delivery by vocalist Maja Ivarsson, reminiscent of Blondie. [10] The cover depicts The Misshapes' DJ Leigh Lezark on the left and her friend Alexis Page on the right.

Contents

The song "Running Out of Turbo" was featured in a chase scene in the episode "Free Fall" of the American television show CSI: Miami , as well as an episode of the MTV reality show The Hills . The song "Queen of Apology" was remixed by Fall Out Boy vocalist Patrick Stump for the soundtrack release Snakes on a Plane: The Album . The track "Hurt You" is featured in a 2008 TV spot for Geico in the United States. The song "Tony The Beat" is playing during a party scene at Cora's house in the 2007 movie Music and Lyrics .

Upon its release, Dying to Say This to You received generally favorable reviews from music critics. [1]

Tenth anniversary tour

The Sounds acknowledged and celebrated the tenth anniversary of their album Dying to Say This to You with a U.S. tour (and two shows in Canada) from 15 November to 20 December 2016, performing the entire album live in its original track order; they also played their new single, "Thrill" (released 10 November 2016) as well as a few tracks from their earlier albums Living In America and Crossing the Rubicon . Crossing the Rubicon is the third studio album by the Swedish new wave band The Sounds, released on 2 June 2009. On 17 April 2009, the first single "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" was released on iTunes worldwide. The album was available to Spotify Premium customers from 29 May, and it was officially released 2 June. The second single, "Beatbox" was released on 12 January 2010 on iTunes exclusively. The track "Home Is Where Your Heart Is" is featured on the second part of the 5th season of the MTV reality show The Hills. "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" is featured on episode eight, season one of The Vampire Diaries. "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" was given a notable cover version by Miss Li.

Taelor Deitcher, better known by his stage name Felix Cartal, is a Canadian DJ and electronic dance music producer. He released his first EP Skeleton in 2009 once he signed with Dim Mak Records. Since then he has gone on to release four full-length albums, 2010's Popular Music, 2012's Different Faces, 2018's Next Season, and 2021's Expensive Sounds for Nice People. Cartal has toured with Wolfgang Gartner, MSTRKRFT, and Bloody Beetroots. Cartal set the trend of collaborating with unpredictable vocalists in the dance scene such as Sebastien Grainger of Death from Above 1979, Maja Ivarsson of The Sounds and Johnny Whitney of The Blood Brothers.

Good Times! is the twelfth studio album by the American pop rock band the Monkees, released in 2016 by Rhino Records. Produced primarily by Adam Schlesinger, the album was recorded to commemorate the band's 50th anniversary. Later, "On Purpose" replaced it as the lead single. The song was produced by Ido Zmishlany and written by Carpenter and Zmishlany. It is a synth-pop song with influences of pop and lyrically it is a break-up song which expresses the feelings experienced after a relationship has ended. The song received generally positive reviews from critics. The song sold 6,012 digital copies in its first week.
