E4 Entertainment [1] is an Indian film production [2] and distribution company founded by Mukesh R. Mehta and C.V. Sarathi. Established in 2012, the company's headquarters are located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. [3]

History

Annayum Rasoolum, released in 2012, marked E4 Entertainment's debut venture. Starring Fahadh Faasil, Andrea Jeremiah, Sunny Wayne, among others, and directed by Rajeev Ravi.[ citation needed ]

Following this success, E4 Entertainment ventured into Malayalam cinema with films like Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi directed by Sameer Thahir and North 24 Kaatham [4] directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon. In 2014, Ohm Shanthi Oshaana directed by Jude Anthany Joseph proved to be a breakthrough, completing 100 successful days in 12 screens.[ citation needed ]

By early 2017, E4 Entertainment produced Ezra, a Malayalam supernatural horror thriller starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, written and directed by Jay K. Filmed primarily in Fort Kochi and Sri Lanka, Ezra became E4 Entertainment's highest-grossing film to date.[ citation needed ]

Vichithram (transl. Unusual) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language mystery thriller film directed by Achu Vijayan, produced by Ajith Joy and Achu Vijayan under the banner Joy Movie Productions. The screenplay was written by Nikhil Ravindran. The film features Shine Tom Chacko, Balu Varghese, Lal, and Kani Kusruti. Aavesham (transl. Excitement) is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language gangster action comedy film written and directed by Jithu Madhavan. The film is produced by Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed under Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. It stars Fahadh Faasil as Ranjith "Ranga" Gangadharan, alongside Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, Roshan Shanavas, Sajin Gopu, Midhutty and Mansoor Ali Khan. The film follows three youngsters in Bangalore who befriends a local gangster for him to help them take revenge on their school bully.
