E4 Entertainment [1] is an Indian film production [2] and distribution company founded by Mukesh R. Mehta and C.V. Sarathi. Established in 2012, the company's headquarters are located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. [3]

History

Annayum Rasoolum, released in 2012, marked E4 Entertainment's debut venture. Starring Fahadh Faasil, Andrea Jeremiah, Sunny Wayne, among others, and directed by Rajeev Ravi. [4]

Following this success, E4 Entertainment ventured into Malayalam cinema with films like Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi directed by Sameer Thahir and North 24 Kaatham [5] directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon. In 2014, Ohm Shanthi Oshaana directed by Jude Anthany Joseph proved to be a breakthrough, completing 100 successful days in 12 screens. [6]

By early 2017, E4 Entertainment produced Ezra, a Malayalam supernatural horror thriller starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, written and directed by Jay K and was filmed primarily in Fort Kochi and Sri Lanka. [7]

E 4 Entertainment has three upcoming projects, including two with different directors and one with Nissam Basheer. [8] The production house's most recent film was Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil .

<i>The Goat Life</i> 2024 Indian film by Blessy

The Goat Life(Aadujeevitham) is a 2024 Malayalam language survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. The film is an international co-production involving companies in India and the United States. It is an adaptation of the 2008 best-selling Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which is based on the real-life story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer in the Gulf. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside Jimmy Jean-Louis and K. R. Gokul, Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul and Shobha Mohan. The film was initially banned in the GCC countries other than UAE, subsequently the ban was lifted in all the countries except in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The novel was also previously banned in the same countries.

<i>The Goat Life</i> (soundtrack) 2024 soundtrack album by A. R. Rahman

The Goat Life is the soundtrack to the Malayalam-language survival drama film of the same name written, directed and co-produced by Blessy, and starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, which is an adaptation of the eponymous 2008 Malayalam novel by Benyamin. The six-song soundtrack composed by A. R. Rahman featured five songs with lyrics written by Rafeeq Ahamed and Rahman himself, along with an instrumental number. Vijay Yesudas, Chinmayi, Sana Moussa, Raja Hasan, Jithin Raj, Rakshita Suresh, Murtuza and Faiz Mustafa had also contributed vocals for the songs. The soundtrack was released on 17 March 2024 through Visual Romance Music.

<i>Lucifer</i> (soundtrack) 2019 soundtrack album by Deepak Dev

Lucifer is the soundtrack album to the 2019 Malayalam-language political action thriller film of the same name directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran starring Mohanlal. The soundtrack featured five songs composed by Deepak Dev and lyrics written by Tanishk Nabar, Logan, Amsi Narayanapilla, Murali Gopy and Usha Uthup. The songs were performed by Jyotsna Radhakrishnan, Karthik, Baradwaj, Gopy and Uthup.

Kaaliyan is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language period drama film directed by S. Mahesh and produced by Rajeev Govindan. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is based on Kunchirakkotu Kali Nair, a 17th-century warrior.
