Eccrisis luctifera is a species of long-horned beetle in the beetle family Cerambycidae. It is found in Madagascar. [1] [2]
The longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae), also known as long-horned or longicorns, are a large family of beetles, with over 35,000 species described.
The pygora beetles or flower beetles are scarab beetles of the genus Pygora. They are native to Madagascar.
Cerambyx is a genus of beetles in the family Cerambycidae. They are commonly known as capricorn beetles, as their strong, stout and curved antennae, each segment of which flares towards the tip, are reminiscent of the horns of an Alpine Ibex or "capricorn".
Necydalinae is a small subfamily of the longhorn beetle family (Cerambycidae), historically treated as a tribe within the subfamily Lepturinae, but recently recognized as a separate subfamily. These beetles are unusual for cerambycids, in that the elytra are quite short; they are thus rather similar in appearance to rove beetles, though most are actually bee or wasp mimics.
Dorcasominae is a subfamily in the longhorn beetle family Cerambycidae. There are about 14 genera and more than 30 described species in Dorcasominae, found mainly in Asia and Africa. These genera are sometimes considered members of the tribe Dorcasomini, which would be the only tribe of this subfamily. This classification is in accordance with the TITAN Cerambycidae database, Catalogue of Life, and Photographic Catalog of the Cerambycidae of the Old World. It is similar to that of Bouchard et al. in "Family-group names in Coleoptera", 2011.
Achrysonini is a tribe of Long-Horned Beetles in the beetle family Cerambycidae. There are more than 20 genera and 50 described species in Achrysonini. They are found mainly in the Americas, but also in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Criodion is a genus of Long-Horned Beetles in the beetle family Cerambycidae. There are about 11 described species in Criodion.
Plocaederus is a genus of Long-Horned Beetles in the beetle family Cerambycidae. This genus has a single species, Plocaederus bellator. It is known from the South American countries Brazil, Ecuador, Guyana, French Guiana, Paraguay, and Suriname.
Compsocerini is a tribe of beetles in the subfamily Cerambycinae, containing the following genera:
Eccrisis is a genus in the longhorn beetle family Cerambycidae. There are about 19 described species in Eccrisis, found in Madagascar.
Eccrisis abdominalis is a species in the longhorn beetle family Cerambycidae. It is native to Madagascar.

Eccrisis perrieri is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Fairmaire in 1900.
Eccrisis scalabrii is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Fairmaire in 1896.
Xiphotheata is a genus of longhorn beetles of the subfamily Lamiinae, containing the following species:
Dmytro Zajciw was a Ukrainian and Brazilian entomologist, notable for his collection and for his many beetle discoveries. He was born in Velyka Mykhailivka, Ukraine and died in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was the author of Two new genera and species of neotropical Longhorn beetles , 1957, Contribution to the study of Longhorn beetles of Rio de Janeiro , 1958, and was the first to describe the genera Adesmoides and Pseudogrammopsis, as well as the species Beraba angusticollis and Mionochroma subaurosum, among many others.
Xiphotheata luctifera is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Léon Fairmaire in 1881. It is known from Papua New Guinea.
Tragocephala jucunda is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Gory in 1835, originally under the genus Lamia. It is known from South Africa and Madagascar.
The Apatophyseini are a tribe of longhorn beetles erected by Lacordaire in 1869. They are placed in the monotypic subfamily Apatophyseinae.
