Edith Ogonnaya Nwosu is a Nigerian Professor of Corporate Law and the immediate-past Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria,Enugu Campus (UNEC). [1] [2] [3] [4] Before her appointment as the DVC,she was the Associate Dean of Students Affairs and the orator of the institution. [5] [6] [7] [8]
Nwosu was the third child in a polygamous household and the second child of Chief Maurice and Lolo Roseline Nnorom when she was born on March 22,1962. [9] [6] From St. Johns' Primary School in Abakaliki,she received her First School Leaving Certificate. At Abakaliki High School,previously Presbyterian College,PRESCO,she earned her West African School Certificate. The former Anambra State University of Technology awarded her a PGDE in education in 1987,while the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu gave her an HND in cooperative economics and management in 1981. At the Nigerian Law School in Lagos,Edith Nwosu earned her BL. with a First Class in 1993 after graduating from the University of Nigeria in 1992 where she also received four awards for outstanding academic performance. She received her LL.M in 1997 and her PhD from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2009 respectively. [2] [5] [6]
Nwosu started her academic career as an assistant lecturer in the faculty of law of the University of Nigeria,Enugu Campus in 1994. She teaches Company Law and Law of Energy and Natural Resources at the undergraduate level and Company Law at the postgraduate level. In 2011,she rose to a professor and on Thursday,11 November 2021,she presented the 172nd Inaugural Lecture of the University of Nigeria Nsukka. The lecture was titled “Gridlock &Good Luck in Quasi-Corporate Marriages in Nigeria”and it was held at the Justice Mary Odili Auditorium of the University of Nigeria,Enugu Campus at 1:00pm. [2] [8]
She was the Acting Head of Department of Commercial and Property Law between 2008 and 2013. The University Orator between 2011 and 2014, Associate Dean of Student Affairs Department,Enugu Campus between 2014 and 2018. She was also a vice chairperson and chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Enugu State. In 2018,she was appointed as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria,Enugu Campus and re-elected in 2021 which ended on March 7,2023. [6] [2] [5] [10]
She is a member of Nigerian Bar Association,International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA),Enugu State Branch and Nigerian Association of Law Teachers. [5]
Nsukka is a town and a Local Government Area in Enugu State,Nigeria. Nsukka shares a common border as a town with Edem,Opi,Ede-Oballa,and Obimo.

The Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education,Owerri,formerly the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education,Owerri is located in Owerri,the capital of Imo State,Nigeria. It was established in April 1963 as the Advanced Teachers Training College by the defunct Eastern Nigeria Government on the grounds of the Old Shell Camp,Owerri. Chinwe Nwogo Ezeani,is a Nigerian Chartered Librarian and the immediate past University Librarian of Nnamdi Azikiwe Library,University of Nigeria,Nsukka (U.N.N.). She is a Professor of Library and Information Science. Her tenure as a University Librarian (UL) at Nnamdi Azikiwe Library was between March 2014-March 2019. She is the first female University Librarian since the inception of Nnamdi Azikiwe Library,University of Nigeria Nsukka. In April,2021,Dr. Ilo Promise Ifeoma took over as the current University Librarian of Nnamdi Azikiwe Library,(U.N.N)
Nancy Ekwulira Achebe is a Nigerian professor of library and information science. She is the first vice president of the Nigerian School Library Association (NSLA) and the current head of the department of Library and Information Science at the University of Nigeria,Nsukka (UNN). She has also been the director of the School of General Studies at UNN,and has published about 70 articles in journals and newspapers.

Nkemakonam Nwolisa Osadebe (1955–2015) was a Nigerian academic professor of engineering at the University of Nigeria,Nsukka. His researches has been cited in publications and practices involving civil engineering in Nigeria. He was the acting head of the civil engineering department in UNN from 1993 to 1996. From 2004 until 2008,he served as the director of the National Equipment Maintenance and Development Centre (NEMDC),an organisation in the university. Osadebe has held positions in the Nigerian educational system including Dean,Faculty of Engineering (2008–2010),chairman,University of Nigeria Secondary School,Nsukka Campus Board of Governors from 2004 to 2007. In 2008,he earned the Vice-Chancellor's Award.
Emeka Mamah (Ideh) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and politician who served as commissioner for environment and mineral resources,Enugu State from 2018 to 2019,and commissioner for chieftaincy and rural development from 2020 to 2023. He also served as special adviser on transport to the governor of Enugu State in 2010. Mamah is the group managing director,Ifesinachi transport limited and a prince of the Ugbaike Kingdom of Igbo-Eze North LGA of Enugu State.
