Edvard Lasota (born 7 March 1971) is a Czech former football player who played mostly as a midfielder. Spending most of his career in the Czech leagues, he had short spells in Italy with AC Reggiana and Salernitana. He also played for the Czech Republic, having 15 caps and 2 goals.
Lasota played in the Czechoslovak First League for Zbrojovka Brno and Dukla Prague. He went on to play for Sigma Olomouc, Petra Drnovice, and Slavia Prague, where he won the 1996–97 Czech Cup, before moving to Italy in 1998. [1] Lasota played on loan at Opava for six months in the second half of the 1999–2000 Czech First League, during which time the club was relegated. 1. FK Drnovice was a Czech football club based in the village of Drnovice in the South Moravian Region. It was founded in 1932.
