RTÉ2 is an Irish free-to-air television channel operated by public service broadcaster RTÉ. It was launched on 2 November 1978 as the Republic of Ireland's second television channel, at which point the preexisting channel was renamed RTÉ 1.

beIN Sports is an Australian and New Zealander pay television sports network that was launched in 2007 as Setanta Sports.

The Virgin Media Sport TV Channel ultimately closed on April 12 2022, to make way for Virgin Media More, a general entertainment TV channel, which would now host the defunct sports channel's content instead.
