Elliott Ferrous-Martin Platt (born February 24, 2004), known professionally as ElyOtto, is a Canadian hyperpop and pop musician. [2] He [a] is best known for his song "SugarCrash!", which went viral on TikTok in early 2021.
ElyOtto was born in 2004, and raised in Calgary, Alberta. [4] [5] In 2020, ElyOtto started a musical career, creating and uploading songs to SoundCloud. [6] His debut single "SugarCrash!" was released in August 2020, followed by the single "Teeth!". [5] "SugarCrash!" went viral on TikTok after ElyOtto posted a video using the song to the platform a week after its release. In 2021, more than 5 million videos have been created using the song. It reached 85 million Spotify listens and a No. 1 spot on the streaming juggernaut’s U.S. Viral 50 playlist in February. [7]
Due to the success of the "SugarCrash!", he secured a contract with RCA Records. [8]
His debut EP was due for release later in 2022. [5] In April 2021, a remix of "SugarCrash!" featuring Kim Petras and Curtis Waters was released. [9] His single "Profane" was released in August 2021, [6] followed by the single "Stalker" also released in 2021. [10]

In July 2023, ElyOtto released his second album Miscarriage of a Wildhorse, and followed up shortly with an EP, Happy Together Convenience Store. [14]
He has 1 million Spotify monthly listeners, and "SugarCrash!" stands at just over 400 million streams. He also continues to release eclectic singles on SoundCloud. [14]
