A deluxe edition featuring four new tracks and a remix was released on January 17, 2020. It was promoted by the singles "Career Boy", "Man To Man", "Flamboyant", and "Daddy Like". Music videos were released for "Adam & Steve" and "Guyliner". The album received acclaim from critics, who praised the production, LGBTQ related lyrics and Electra’s vocal performances.

They released their second studio album, 10,000 gecs, in 2023. Their music has been noted for its often chaotic yet catchy mixture of various styles, and has been described as helping to define the 2010s genre hyperpop.

Julian-Quán Việt Lê produced the song and co-wrote it with Aiko and Micah Powell. Def Jam released it for digital download and streaming as the album's third single on January 16, 2020. "Pussy Fairy (OTW)" is an R&B ballad, featuring an alchemy crystal sound bowl intended to activate the listener's Svadhishthana (the sacral chakra). In the lyrics, Aiko acts as the "pussy fairy" and boasts about her sexual performance.

Chilombo is the third studio album by American singer Jhené Aiko. It was released on March 6, 2020, by ArtClub International, ARTium Recordings, and Def Jam Recordings. Following the release of Trip and her split with rapper Big Sean, with whom she formed the duo Twenty88, Aiko began work on Chilombo. Recorded as a freestyle in Hawaii, the album was inspired by the island's natural landscape and features traditional singing bowls to create a tranquil effect. In order to create her desired sound, Aiko served as the album's executive producer, enlisting the help of long time collaborators Fisticuffs and Lejkeys, who produced eighteen of the album's songs. The album featured a range of guests including rappers Nas, Ab-Soul, Big Sean and Future, as well as R&B singers Ty Dolla $ign, John Legend, Miguel, and H.E.R. The deluxe edition of the album was released on July 17, 2020, and includes appearances from Kehlani, Mila J, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.

1000 gecs and the Tree of Clues is the debut remix album by American experimental music duo 100 gecs, released on July 10, 2020, by Dog Show Records, Big Beat Records and Atlantic Records. It features remixed and reworked versions of songs from their debut studio album 1000 gecs (2019), as well as live performances and previously unreleased songs which were played at their Mine Gala 2019 set. The album features collaborations with numerous acts, such as Charli XCX, Kero Kero Bonito, Rico Nasty, Fall Out Boy, Tommy Cash, Hannah Diamond, Black Dresses and Dorian Electra. The album debuted at number 198 on the US Billboard 200, making it their first entry on the chart.

Her debut self-titled EP, Lil Mariko was released in 2021.

The album was preceded by the four singles "Good Ones", "New Shapes" featuring Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek, "Beg for You" featuring Rina Sawayama, "Baby" and two promotional singles, "Every Rule" and "Used to Know Me", the latter released as the fifth single in April 2022.
