Elyakhin (Hebrew : אֶלְיָכִין) is a local council (town) in the Sharon region of the Central District of Israel. Located just south of Hadera and bordering the Emek Hefer Regional Council, it is accessible by local road 5812. With a jurisdiction of 1,600 dunams, [2] it had a population of 3,462 in 2022.
Elyakhin was founded in 1950 as an immigrant interim housing camp ( ma'abara ) near the ruins of the Palestinian village Khirbat Zalafa. [3] It has a symbolic name, meaning "God will prepare", i.e. God prepared the land for the settlement of Jewish immigrants. [4] The ma'abara eventually became an agricultural community (moshav), settled entirely by immigrants from Yemen.
Elyakhin is bordered by Hadera in the north and the Hefer Valley Regional Council in the south. The adjacent villages in the regional council are Herev Le'et, Hibat Tzion and Givat Haim (Ihud). Elyakhin's average elevation is 30 meters (98 ft). [4]
Elyakhin consists of the eastern part of the town, as well as three western neighborhoods – HaAlonim, HaShikmim and HaOranim.
Elyakhin has 11 synagogues, five of which are adjacent and located in the center of the town. Three more are located on the sides of HaBanim Park on the eastern part.
Elyakhin also has a community center and public library in the town's center.
Or Akiva is a city located in the Haifa District of Israel, on the country's coastal plain. It is located inland from the ancient port city of Caesarea and the Mediterranean Sea, and to the north of the city of Hadera. It is 39 kilometres south of Haifa and 48 km (30 mi) north of Tel Aviv. In 2022 it had a population of 20,874.
Hod HaSharon is a city in the Central District of Israel. The city is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of the Mediterranean coastline, south of Kfar Saba, southeast of Ra'anana, and northeast of Ramat HaSharon. In 2022 Hod-HaSharon had a population of 65,614 and its citizens are nearly entirely Jewish.
Hadera is a city located in the Haifa District of Israel, in the northern Sharon region, approximately 45 kilometers (28 miles) from the major cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa. The city is located along 7 km (5 mi) of the Israeli Mediterranean Coastal Plain. The city's population includes a high proportion of immigrants arriving since 1990, notably from Ethiopia and the former Soviet Union. In 2022 it had a population of 103,041.
Hatzor HaGlilit is a town in the Korazim Plateau in northern Israel near Rosh Pinna and Safed. It is named for the nearby biblical site of Tel Hazor. In 2022 it had a population of 10,047.
Caesarea, also transliterated as Keisarya or Qaysaria, is an affluent resort town in north-central Israel, which was named after the ancient city of Caesarea Maritima situated 1–2 kilometres (0.62–1.24 mi) to the south in the adjacent Caesarea National Park.

Givat Haim (Ihud) (Hebrew: גבעת חיים (איחוד), lit. the hill of life [Khaim's Hill] (Union)) is a kibbutz near Hadera in Israel. It is located within the jurisdiction of the Hefer Valley Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 1,198.
Kiryat Ekron or Qiryath Eqron is a town located on the coastal plain in the Central District of Israel. Located immediately south of the city of Rehovot on Highway 411 next to the Bilu Junction, in 2022 it had a population of 10,993.
The Hefer Valley Regional Council is a regional council in the Sharon region of the Central District of Israel. It is named after an administrative district in this area in the time of King Solomon.
Pardesiya is a town in the Central District of Israel. Located on the Sharon plain, between Kfar Yona and the Lev HaSharon Regional Council, it was founded between 1937 and 1939. In 2022 it had a population of 7,421; its jurisdiction is 1,273 dunams (~1.3 km2)

Hogla is a moshav in central Israel. It is named after Hogla, who settled here in the district of the tribe of Menashe. Located in the coastal plain to the south of Hadera, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hefer Valley Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 864.
Kfar Haroeh is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located in the coastal plain between Hadera and Netanya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hefer Valley Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 1,438.
Amir is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the Galilee Panhandle near Kiryat Shmona, it falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. In 2022 it had a population of 622. The kibbutz is on the eastern bank of the Jordan River in the Hula Valley, and has views of snow-topped Mount Hermon to the northeast, and the Ramat Naftali to the west. It was established in 1939 in the area today known as Lehavot HaBashan, and moved to its current location in 1942.
