Nur is a 2018-2019 Malaysian television series directed by Shahrulezad Mohameddin, starring Amyra Rosli as the title role and Syafiq Kyle as Ustaz Adam. The series focuses on the relationship between a pious man and a prostitute who practices her faith in an unconventional manner. The premiere episode garnered 11 million viewers and became a controversy during its run. The series premiered on TV3 from 14 May 2018 to 14 June 2018 during the Ramadhan. A sequel, Nur 2 was aired in 2019, after the success of the prequel.

Yang Berhormat Young Syefura Othman, nicknamed Rara, is a Malaysian politician and nurse who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bentong since November 2022. She served as Member of the Pahang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ketari from May 2018 to November 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Action Party, a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) coalitions. She has also served as Deputy Youth Chief of DAP since March 2022. Additionally, she is the first Bentong MP of the Malay ethnicity and the first female Malay MP of DAP in the Malaysian history.
Nur Amirah Filzah binti Badioezaman, commonly known by her stage name Mira Filzah, is a singer, actress, lawyer and businesswoman from Malaysia who became one of her country's best-selling female artists. She is referred to be "Malaysia's ultimate girl next door" by the South China Morning Post.
