The Embassy of Oman in London is the diplomatic mission of Oman in the United Kingdom. [1] Oman represented Iranian interests in the UK between 2011 and 2014 as the Embassy of Iran was closed following the 2011 attack on the British Embassy in Iran.[ citation needed ] This service was no longer needed after Iran–United Kingdom relations improved following the election of President Hassan Rouhani, and the Iranian embassy reopened in February 2014. Oman also maintains a separate building at 64 Ennismore Gardens, Knightsbridge which contains the Cultural, Health and Military Attachés. [3]
The foreign relations of Afghanistan are in a transitional phase since the 2021 fall of Kabul to the Taliban and the collapse of the internationally-recognized Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. No country has recognised the new regime, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Foreign relations of Qatar is conducted through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The 2011 attack on the British Embassy in Iran was a mob action on 29 November 2011 by a crowd of Iranian protesters who stormed the embassy and another British diplomatic compound in Tehran, Iran, ransacking offices and stealing documents. One small building was set on fire during the incident and several people were injured. The Iranian government publicly condemned the violence.

The embassy building, along with the Ethiopian Embassy and the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum, is one of a group of Grade II listed stucco buildings.

Russia also maintains a Defence Attaché's Office at 44 Millfield Lane, Highgate, and an Office of the Trade Representative at 33 Highgate West Hill, Highgate.
Iran–Oman relations are bilateral relations between Oman and Iran. The two countries currently share diplomatic and economic ties dating back to the Pahlavi period. Oman considers Iran not to be a threat perceived by the other Arab states of the Persian Gulf. Both countries are members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement and the Group of 77. Iran has an embassy in Muscat whilst Oman has an embassy in Tehran.
