Emmanuel Chiedoziem Nwaka is a Nigerian politician and lawyer who served in the Nigerian Senate representing Aba North federal constituency from 1992 to 1993.
Nwaka was born in 1958 to Godwill Ezuike Nwaka in Ogunduasa in Isuikwuato local government area of Abia State. [1] Nwaka began his primary school education at Municipal Council School, Orogbum in Port Harcourt. He left schooling due to the Nigerian Civil War and continued later at the Local Authority Primary School, Amokwe-Amiyi and Methodist Primary School, Emene in Enugu where he graduated in 1972. [1] Nwaka attended St. Theresa’s Secondary School, Nsukka briefly in 1973 before proceeding to Boys High School, Isuikwuato for his secondary education and graduated with WASSCE in 1977. Nwaka attended Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) while doing a part-time job in Festac Town before proceeding to University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he graduated in 1982 and was called to the bar in 1983. Nwaka observed the compulsory one year service for the National Youth Service Corps in the Kano State's Ministry of Justice before working as for Chief James Uba and later establishing Okaome Law Firm. [1]
Nwaka joined the National Republican Convention and was elected as the state legal adviser. During the creation of Abia State, Nwaka resigned as a legal adviser and won in the 1992 Senate election but was cut short in 1993 due to the 1993 Nigerian coup d'état. [1] [2]

He is the traditional ruler of Amaitolu Ovungwu Autonomous Community in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State. Otagburuagu was Director of the Institute of African Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2008-2010). He served as the President of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association, Nsukka (2002), and President of the Ngwa Town Union between 2006 and 2010. Otagburuagu was awarded the Merited Accomplishments Award in the Contemporary World by the American Biographical Institute, United States of America in 2004.
Anthony Ndubueze Nzeako is a Nigerian professor of electronic engineering. He served as the former Dean of the Faculties of Engineering in three Universities: University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Cross River University of Technology, Calabar, and Veritas University, Abuja, where he was the founding dean. Nzeako is the founding director, Computer Communications Centre, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and one of the founding fathers of Abia State, Nigeria, who served as secretary of the Charter of Equity Committee which created the name of the state. Nzeako is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE); and, American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). Nzeako's publications have been cited 307 times according to the AD Scientific index ranking, and 308 times according to the google scholar index.
