Enrique "Quique" Questell Alvarado (born March 26,1955) is a Puerto Rican politician and the former mayor of Santa Isabel. Questell is affiliated with the New Progressive Party (PNP) and served as mayor from 2005 until 2020. Has an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering from the Ponce Institute of Technology. [1] [2]
In 2016 the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources filed a lawsuit against the mayor for constructing docks without permits. [3] In the aftermath of Hurricane María a private company without a contract sued the municipality arguing it assisted with aid but this case was dismissed. [4] [5] During his term the mayor closed off access to the town docks due to safety concerns a move the municipal legislature later opposed. [6] [7]

JoséGuillermo Rodríguez Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican politician who served as the Mayor of the city of Mayagüez,Puerto Rico for 27 years until March 31,2022 when he was suspended by the Special Independent Prosecutor Panel. Abel Nazario Quiñones is former senator at large of the 26th Senate of Puerto Rico and was mayor of Yauco,Puerto Rico. He was first elected in 2000 representing the New Progressive Party (PNP). Parque Familiar Julio Enrique Monagas is Puerto Rico's largest passive park. It is located in barrio Bucaná,Ponce,Puerto Rico,on the banks of the Bucanáand Portugués rivers. The park was named after Julio Enrique Monagas,"the father of Puerto Rican Olympic sports". In November 2017,the park was severely damaged by Hurricane Maria and,as of today,remains closed.
