Entesa per Mallorca (English: Agreement for Majorca, ExM), or Entesa, was a nationalist and progressist political party in Majorca. It was founded in 2006 by former members of the Socialist Party of Majorca (PSM) who disagreed with the creation of the coalition Bloc for Majorca. In October 2006, ExM held its first congress, with the main objective of participating in the 2007 local elections in Majorca. [1]
In 2009, ExM joined Republican Left (ERC) in the Balearic Islands to participate in the 2009 European election, within the coalition Europe of the Peoples–Greens. [2]
Between 2011 and 2013, it was part of a coalition with the PSM and IniciativaVerds (IV), taking part in the 2011 regional election. [3] [4] In 2013, the party merged into the PSM to form the new coalition PSM–Entesa. [5]

The Republican Left of Catalonia is a pro-Catalan independence, social democratic political party in the Spanish autonomous community of Catalonia, with a presence also in Valencia, the Balearic Islands and the French department of Pyrénées-Orientales. It is also the main sponsor of the independence movement from France and Spain in the territories known as Catalan Countries, focusing in recent years on the creation of a Catalan Republic in Catalonia proper. Its current president is Oriol Junqueras and its secretary-general is Marta Rovira. The party is a member of the European Free Alliance.
Initiative for Catalonia Greens was an eco-socialist political party in Catalonia. It was formed as a merger of Iniciativa per Catalunya and Els Verds. IC had been an alliance led by Partit Socialista Unificat de Catalunya and was the equivalent of Izquierda Unida in Catalonia. IC later developed into a political party, and PSUC was dissolved. The youth of ICV was called Joves d'Esquerra Verda. It used to be called JambI, Joves amb Iniciativa.

It was established in 2010 by the PSM, Left Initiative (Iniciativa) and The Greens (EV) under the name PSM–Iniciativa–Verds. After the merger of Iniciativa and EV into IV in 2010, and with the incorporation of ExM in 2011, it was renamed as PSM–IniciativaVerds–Entesa. In 2013, the current name was adopted.

Left Movement of Catalonia is a social-democratic, pro-independence political party in Catalonia. The party was founded in November 2014 from the merger of New Catalan Left (NECat) and Catalonia Movement, which had both been formed by dissident members of the Socialists' Party of Catalonia (PSC) who were dissatisfied with what they saw as the party's lack of support for the independence movement. Its founders included Marina Geli and Ernest Maragall (NECat), but both have ever since left for other parties—Geli joined the Together for Catalonia alliance ahead of the 2017 Catalan regional election, whereas Maragall defected to Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC) in 2018.
Més per Menorca is a Menorcan political party. It was initially a coalition formed by the Socialist Party of Menorca, the Republican Left of the Balearic Islands, The Greens of Menorca, Equo, local parties and independents around the island until 2017. Més per Menorca was created in July 2014. Until May 2017, it had been linked to the similarly-named alliance in Majorca.
