Eric Malcolm Senior (6 October 1920 – 24 April 1970) was an English first-class cricketer and Royal Air Force officer. Senior served in the latter stages of the Second World War with the Royal Air Force,in addition to playing first-class cricket for the Combined Services cricket team.
Senior was born at Shaftesbury in Dorset. He debuted in minor counties cricket for Oxfordshire in the 1939 Minor Counties Championship,playing in two matches. [1] He joined the Royal Air Force in the latter stages of the Second World War as a pilot officer. [2] [3] Following the war,he a handful of minor counties matches for Oxfordshire in 1946. [1] Remaining in the Royal Air Force after the war,he was promoted to the rank of flying officer in May 1946. [4] He became a flight lieutenant in October 1950, [5] with promotion to squadron leader in March 1956. [6] He appeared for Lincolnshire in minor counties cricket in 1957 and 1958. [1]
Senior retired from active service at his own request in October 1961, [7] five months after appearing in a first-class cricket match for the Combined Services cricket team against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge. [8] Senior scored one run in the match,which saw him dismissed by Roger Vowles in the Combined Services first-innings,and by Ian Davison in their second-innings. [9]
He died at Oxford in April 1970.

He was born in High Wycombe,Buckinghamshire and attended High Wycombe Royal Grammar School from 1910 to 1915. He would later become a senior colonial police officer in Ceylon.

Clive Charlton Garthwaite CBE was an English first-class cricketer and British Army officer. He played one first-class game for the British Army cricket team in 1930. Garthwaite served in North Africa during the Second World War and was mentioned in dispatches in March 1945. He continued to be active in cricket,captaining the Army and Combined Services cricket teams into the 1950s. He retired as a Brigadier in 1963.

As an announcer for the BBC Home Service,he made the first announcement of the German Invasion of Poland.

Hudson served in the Middlesex Regiment from 1920–1934,before transferring to the Army Education Corps,with whom he served until his retirement in 1959. He also played first-class cricket for the British Army cricket team.
