Erin McLaughlin is an American journalist working as a national correspondent for NBC News based in Los Angeles, California. She has been with the network since 2019 and was previously at CNN as an international correspondent covering the UK, Europe, and all of the Middle East on the big stories her vital reporting brought to the network's live coverage, particularly conflicts, wars, scandals. She continues to do so in her role at NBC News and provided in-depth coverage of COVID-19 pandemic, the Russo-Ukrainian War, and the Gaza war. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Early life and education

McLaughlin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and after graduating from a local high school in her hometown, enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas Undergraduate Program and later graduated with high honors, Phi Beta Kappa from the program and also received a bachelor's degree in business administration.
