Erjon Tola (born 15 December 1986) is an Albanian alpine ski racer who represented Albania at the 2006, [1] 2010, [1] 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics. [2]
Tola was born in Tirana in 1986. He trains in Italy and has been living in Cervinia since 1992. [3]
At his first Olympics appearance in 2006, Tola was ranked last among those who finished the men's super-G, but finished 35th in the men's giant slalom. [1] Tola finished 48th in the men's slalom [1] [4] and 63rd in the men's giant slalom at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. [4]
During 2013 he participated for the first time in both the World Ski Championships and the World Cup.
Although Tola represented Albania again at the 2014 Winter Olympics, due to injury suffered during a training session he was not able to take part in any competitions.
In 2018 he and Suela Mehilli represented Albania at the Winter Olympic Games in South Korea. It was his fourth and her second Olympics. [5]
He obtained his best career placement in the Slalom competition at the 2021 World Championships held in Cortina d'Ampezzo. [6]
Albania sent a delegation to compete at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy between 10–26 February 2006. This was the nation's first appearance at a Winter Olympic Games, having previously participated several times in the Summer Olympics. The delegation consisted of one alpine skier, Erjon Tola, who competed in three events. His best finish was 35th in the giant slalom.
Senegal competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. This marked the fourth appearance by the nation at a Winter Olympics, and the first time it had not been represented at one by alpine skier Lamine Guèye. Instead, Leyti Seck was chosen as the country's sole representative. He did not win any medals, but would return to represent his country again at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The country's participation at Vancouver marked its fifth appearance at a Winter Olympics since its debut in 1968; no athlete had won any medals. The 2010 delegation consisted of a single athlete competing in alpine skiing, Samir Azzimani, who was also the nation's flag bearer in the Parade of Nations. Azzimani brought a group of schoolchildren from a suburb of Metz, France, which had seen rioting in January that year. Dinos Lefkaritis is a Cypriot alpine skier who represented the Republic of Cyprus in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
