Eurasia International Film Festival

Eurasia International Film Festival is an international film festival held in Kazakhstan. With the exception of the fifth, held in Astana, all the editions were held in Almaty.

Contents

During the seventh festival in 2011, the Alley of Stars of Kazakh Cinema was inaugurated.

Apart from hosting ice hockey matches, the arena is venue for boxing, figure skating, basketball, concerts, and other events. It is one of the venues to host the 2017 Winter Universiade. The arena is located in the north of punched Ryskulov Avenue, to the west from Momyshuly street in the Alatau District.

Elections to the Almaty City Mäslihat were held on 10 January 2021 to elect 39 deputies of the Almaty City Mäslihat. This was the first time that all city deputies were elected under party-list proportional representation.
