The Evangelical Church of Christ in Mozambique (or the Igreja Evangelica de Cristo em Mocambique in Portuguese) was a result of Presbyterian missionaries from Scotland. James Reid started working in the Zambesi region in 1910. In 1912 a mission station was opened in Alto Molocue. In 1913 the Scottish Presbyterian Church was founded, and was later renamed to Evangelical Mission of Nauela. The missionaries left Mozambique in 1933, the work was transferred to the Church of Brethren, 5 years later it was handed over by the South African General Mission. The Portuguese government closed the mission in 1959. Trouble period came. But the church survived. Several congregations remained faithful to their origin. The church governance is congregational. In 2004 it had 40,000 members and 500 congregations and 10 prayer stations. [1]

Medical work was centered in Moyobamba and Cajamarca. The first church work was started in 1921. The first church was built in Cajamarca in 1936 with 600 people present. The work spread to Tarapoto and Chachapoyas. But there was shortage of pastors and elders. The first General Assembly was held in 1963 with 5 presbyteries namely the Amazonas, Cajamarca, Lima, Celendin and San Martin, and the church become independent. The name of the denomination was Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Peru. The church had 3,000 members.

The denomination was a mission established by the Netherlands Reformed Church, and become autonomous in 1949. It has 300,000 members in 411 congregations and 27 presbyteries. GMIH follows the Presbyterian Church governance. The church is Reformed in theology and owns its own Theological Seminary.

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Togo is a church of the Bremen Mission, which began its work in the Volta region in Ghana. The first congregation was established in 1893. The church was established at the end of the 19th century. At the time of World War I, the church had 22,000 members. After the departure of the German missionaries, the church sought to maintain its unity, and in 1922 the Evangelical Ewe Church was established, uniting the francophone and anglophone churches. The French-speaking church was established by the Paris Foreign Missions Society.
The Eglise Evangelique Du Cameroun EEC (Evangelical Church of Cameroon) was born out of the European missionaries, the Paris Mission, Basel Mission and English Baptist Mission. After 1917 the Basel Mission handed over the majority of its mission stations to the Paris Mission. In 1957 the church become self-supporting and autonomous.
In 1850 Presbyterians and Congregationalists opened a mission in Mosul, Iraq. The Arabian mission of the Reformed Church in America started in 1889 in Basra; during the 1920s the Evangelical and Reformed Church and the United Presbyterian Church supported this effort. This united mission was merged with the Southern Presbyterian Church in 1957. Its main focus was education; there was little success in church planting. There were four Reformed-Presbyterian congregations in Baghdad, Kirkuk, Basra and Mosul, served by Egyptian pastors. In 1969 all missionaries were expelled from Iraq and their schools were closed. The exact number of churches and adherents is unknown.
