The Evangelical Reformed Church of India , also called Evangelical Reformed Church in India (ERCI) is a denomination Continental Reformed in India, founded in 2003, through the NGO Mission of Peace Making. [1] [2]

History

In 2003, the NGO Mission of Peace Making began evangelism and church planting work in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, northern Chandigarh and eastern Orissa [1] , with the help of local churches of the United Reformed Churches in North America and other Continental Reformed churches of the United States . Consequently, churches have been planted in several cities. [6] [7]

For the training of new members and future leaders, the Reformed Theological Institute was created, directed by Rev. Anup Hiwale. [8]

From the expansion of the work, 84 churches were organized. [6]

The church has relationships with the United Reformed Churches in North America. [6]

In addition, he is a member of the Reformed and Presbyterian Fellowship of India [1] , World Reformed Fellowship [3] and the International Conference of Reformed Churches (since 2022) [4] [5] .

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church is a Calvinist, Christian evangelical denomination that is found only in Northern Ireland, where it is the smallest of the Presbyterian churches. It was formed on 15 October 1927 by Rev. James Hunter (1863–1942), former minister of Knock Presbyterian Church (Belfast), and James (W.J.) Grier, a former student at the Assembly's College. They were joined by others who seceded from the Irish Presbyterian Church.

India Evangelical Lutheran Church (IELC) is a Christian denomination in India. Its headquarters is in Tamil Nadu. It belongs to the International Lutheran Council and the Lutheran World Federation. It has three synods named Ambur, Nagercoil, and Trivandrum. The India Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded through the missionary efforts of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS), with whom it remains in altar and pulpit fellowship.

The Presbyterian Church of the Philippines (PCP), officially The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of the Philippines, is a growing evangelical, Bible-based Reformed church in the Philippines. It was officially founded in 1987 and the General Assembly was organized in September 1996.

The Reformed Presbyterian Church of India is a historic confessional Presbyterian denomination in India, established in the 19th century by Scottish and Irish missionaries.

The Africa Evangelical Presbyterian Church (AEPC) is a growing conservative Presbyterian and Reformed Church which adheres to the Westminster Confession of Faith started in Kenya, later spread to the surrounding countries like Burundi, Tanzania, Congo and as far as Zimbabwe. The headquarters of the church is located in Nairobi, Kenya. The current Moderator is Rev. Dr Joseph Mutei installed on Sunday 26th June 2022

The Reformed Presbyterian Church in Taiwan was officially established in 1971 when the First Presbytery was formed as a result of the union of various conservative Presbyterian and Continental Reformed congregations planted by various missionary groups. Its origin could be traced back to the 1950s when the very first missionaries of those Presbyterian and Continental Reformed missionaries arrived in Taiwan.
