Emory Brace Remington (1892–1971) was a trombonist and music teacher. His unique method made him one of the most well-known and influential trombone educators in history. He was a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra from 1923 to 1949, and on the faculty of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY from 1922 until his death in 1971.

G. Lewis Doll (1901–1985) established the first string program in the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) in the 1940s. At this time, no other public school district in San Antonio offered string instruction. As the SAISD string program grew, Doll started the San Antonio Youth Symphony around 1950. A second orchestra for junior high school students was formed in the 1960s and both orchestras operated under the auspices of the SAISD until 1979.

The St Augustine Chamber Orchestra (SACO) is a chamber orchestra residing in the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. SACO was founded by Kenneth Listhrop, Conductor and Music Director who is also a licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music, London (L.R.S.M), with an advanced certificate in violin performance. SACO currently consists of approximately 120 young musicians who play violin, viola, cello and double bass as well as another hundred youngsters who comprise the junior and intermediate orchestras. Annually, SACO puts on 3 performances at Queen's Hall and other venues in Trinidad.

In 2009 USA granted her the colloquially known "Genius" Green Card: permanent residency under E-11 classification given to Aliens with Extraordinary Ability in the Arts normally awarded to the likes of famous artists, Nobel Prize winners and public figures such as John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Zdorovetchi received her American citizenship in 2015. She is the winner of the Seventeenth International Harp Contest in Israel - the most prestigious international harp competition in the world - having received the highest awarded prize (II), the special prize for the best performance of Chamber Music and the special prize for the best interpretation of the new music piece by Yitzhak Yedid.
Noah Bendix-Balgley is an American classical violinist. He is currently First Concertmaster with the Berliner Philharmoniker. He served as concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra from 2011 to 2014.
The Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (BPYO) is the youth orchestra of the Boston Philharmonic and is considered the premier youth orchestra in the Boston area. Created in 2012, the tuition-free orchestra consists of musicians between the ages of 12-21. The BPYO performs an annual concert series in Boston as well as international tours and has released two commercial recordings. The founder and current conductor of the orchestra is Benjamin Zander.
Jeffrey "Jeff" Anderson is an American tuba player. As of 2017, he is the Principal Tubist in the San Francisco Symphony. Anderson was educated at the Indiana University School of Music and Arizona State University. His teachers have included Harvey Phillips, Daniel Perantoni, Arnold Jacobs, Roger Bobo and Jim Self. He is an active soloist, clinician, chamber musician, and teacher. He has performed at the International Brass Conference, and is a frequent recitalist in the United States and abroad. He has been featured as a soloist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the San Francisco Symphony.
