Even Tjiviju (born 2 February 1992) is a Namibian sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 metres.

In the 100 metres he reached the semi-final at the 2014 African Championships and competed at the 2016 and 2018 African Championships without reaching the final. In the 200 metres he reached the semi-final at the 2014 African Championships and the 2015 African Games. He has also been the guide for prolific Paralympic athlete Ananias Shikongo.

His career highlight came when taking the silver medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 2015 African Games, [1] together with teammates Hitjivirue Kaanjuka, Dantago Gurirab and Jesse Urikhob. Their time of 39.22 seconds is the Namibian record.

His personal best times are 10.58 seconds in the 100 metres, achieved in May 2014 in Potchefstroom; 21.14 seconds in the 200 metres, achieved in August 2014 in Marrakesh; and 47.92 seconds in the 400 metres, achieved in February 2013 in Windhoek. [1]

With that time he became the first person not of African ancestry to break the 10-second barrier. The time made him the 17th-fastest man in history at the time and 38th man to crack the 10-second barrier. He was regarded as the fastest man of non-African descent before Christophe Lemaitre ran 9.92 seconds in French National Championships in Albi on 29 July 2011.

Jaysuma Saidy Ndure is a Gambian-Norwegian sprinter. He is of Serer heritage of the noble Ndure family. In 2002, he went to Oslo, aged 18 and settled with his father who has lived in Norway since the 1970s. Having changed nationality from Gambia to Norway in 2006, he holds Norwegian records in the 100 and in the 200 metres, and is the seventh and fourth fastest European of all times on the two distances. He has a bronze medal from the African Championships and several top-three placings in IAAF Golden League meets and the IAAF World Athletics Final.

Ngonidzashe Makusha is a Zimbabwean sprinter and long jumper. He is the national record holder over 100 m and long jump for Zimbabwe with 9.89 s (+1.3 m/s) and 8.40 m (0.0 m/s), respectively. Both performances were achieved during the 2011 NCAA Division I Championships in Des Moines, Iowa where he completed the 100 m - long jump double gold. Makusha was one of the only four, now five, athletes to win the 100 m - long jump double gold at the NCAA championships. The four others are DeHart Hubbard (1925), Jesse Owens, Carl Lewis (1981), and Jarrion Lawson (2016).
