Everything Is A-OK is the fifth studio album by Australian alternative rock band Violent Soho, released on 3 April 2020 by I Oh You and Pure Noise Records.

Supported by six singles—"A-OK", "Vacation Forever", "Lying on the Floor", "Pick It Up Again", "Canada", and "Slow Down Sonic"—Everything Is A-OK debuted atop the Australian albums chart on 11 April 2020, becoming Violent Soho's second number one album in Australia (following Waco in 2016). [5]

At the 2020 ARIA Music Awards, the album received three nominations—for Best Rock Album, Engineer of the Year (for Greg Wales) and Best Cover Art (for Luke Henery). [6]

The band's founding members were Dane Brown on drums, his brother Jason Brown on vocals, Luke McDonald on guitar and Sean Van Gennip on bass guitar. Sunk Loto signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia when the members average age was 16 years. Violent Soho

Violent Soho are an Australian alternative rock band that was formed in 2004 in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland. The band consists of Luke Boerdam, James Tidswell, Luke Henery and Michael Richards. Their sound has been compared to that of 1980s and 1990s alternative rock bands such as the Pixies, Mudhoney and Nirvana. The band's third studio album, Hungry Ghost, was certified Gold in Australia in September 2014. Their fourth album, Waco, debuted at number 1 on the Australian iTunes and ARIA charts in 2016. The band's fifth album, Everything Is A-OK, was released on 3 April 2020.

Ball Park Music is a five-piece indie rock/pop band based in Brisbane, Australia, made up of frontman Sam Cromack (guitar/vocals), Jennifer Boyce, Paul Furness (keys/trombone), and twins Dean Hanson and Daniel Hanson.

DZ Deathrays Australian band

DZ Deathrays are an Australian dance-punk trio from Brisbane, Queensland. Composed of Shane Parsons (vocals/guitar), Lachlan Ewbank and Simon Ridley (drums), they put out two EPs before releasing their debut album, Bloodstreams, in April 2012. The album went on to win the Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album award at the 2012 ARIA Awards. Sheppard (band)

Sheppard is an Australian indie pop band from Brisbane, formed in 2009. Their debut studio album, Bombs Away, was released on 11 July 2014, and peaked at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association, while their second single, "Geronimo", spent three weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified 5× platinum.

Montaigne (musician) Australian musician

Jessica Alyssa Cerro, who performs as Montaigne, is an Australian art pop singer-songwriter-musician. Her debut album, Glorious Heights, was released on 5 August 2016, which peaked at No. 4 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2016 she won Breakthrough Artist – Release for the album and was nominated for three other categories. In April 2016 she was a featured vocalist on Hilltop Hoods' track, "1955", which reached No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart. She was supposed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with her song "Don't Break Me", until the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 2 April 2020, it was announced that she would represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

DMA's are an Australian three-piece rock band formed in 2012 in Sydney. The band is composed of Tommy O'Dell, Matt Mason, and Johnny Took. They gained popularity for their debut single "Delete" and for their self-titled EP released in 2014.

Nicole Millar

Nicole Maxine Michel-Millar, who performs as Nicole Millar, is a Canadian-Australian electronic, indie pop singer-songwriter. She is the featured vocalist on "High" by Australian duo, Peking Duk, which peaked at No. 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified triple platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). Millar co-wrote the track with Sam Littlemore and the duo's Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2014 she won a trophy for Best Dance Release alongside the group. In the following January, "High", was listed at No.2 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2014.

Mallrat Australian musician

Grace Kathleen Elizabeth Shaw, known professionally as Mallrat, is an Australian musician, singer, and rapper from Brisbane. Mallrat has released three EPs: Uninvited (2016), In the Sky (2018) and Driving Music (2019). In 2019, her tracks "Groceries" and "UFO" placed at number 7 and 70, respectively, in the 2018 Triple J Hottest 100, whilst in 2020, her tracks "Charlie" and "Nobody's Home" placed at number 3 and 59, respectively, in the 2019 Triple J Hottest 100.

<i>Good Mood</i> (album) 2018 studio album by Ball Park Music

Good Mood is the fifth studio album by Australian indie pop band Ball Park Music. The album was released on 16 February 2018. Two singles have been released from the album, "Exactly How You Are" and "The Perfect Life Does Not Exist". The band promoted the album with a national tour in February and March 2018. It was the first album to have song-writing contributions by guitarist Dean Hanson.
