Franklin Parish is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. As of the 2010 census, the population was 20,767. The parish seat is Winnsboro. The parish was founded in 1843 and named for Benjamin Franklin.

Braithwaite is an unincorporated community in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, United States. Braithwaite is located on the Mississippi River and Louisiana Highway 39 in northern Plaquemines Parish, 9.6 miles (15.4 km) southeast of New Orleans.
