FC Pune City (R) was FC Pune City's reserve team that participanted in the I-League 2nd Division. FC Pune City Academy was the youth setup of FC Pune City. They participated in Youth League U18 and U15, as well as Pune Football League.
On 26 August 2016, it was announced that FC Pune City had purchased the Pune F.C. Academy and rebranded it under their name. At the same time, the team unveiled their youth development plans which included fielding teams in Youth League U18 and U15, as well as Subroto Cup and Pune Football League. [1]
FC Pune City Reserves and Academy got dissolved in 2019, soon after their first team FC Pune City shut down its operations due financial and technical difficulties. The club's ownership was sold. The franchise rights was bought by Hyderabad-based IT entrepreneur Vijay Madduri and former Kerala Blasters FC CEO Varun Tripuneni. They subsequently launched a new club, Hyderabad FC.

Southampton F.C. Under-21s and Academy or Saints U21s and Academy is the youth organisation run by Southampton F.C. to encourage and develop young footballers in the south of England. Renowned players including Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott, and Alan Shearer began their careers at this academy.
Liverpool F.C. Under 23’s is the reserve & senior youth team of Liverpool F.C. It is the most senior level of the Liverpool academy beneath the first team. In the summer of 2012, the whole English reserve football system was overhauled and replaced with an Under 21 league system, the Professional Development League. Liverpool's reserve team became the Liverpool under 23 team and competes in the Professional Development League 1 which is also known by its sponsorship name of Barclays under 21 Premier League and Premier League 2. The team generally consists of Under-21 players at the club but at times senior players also play for the reserves when they are recuperating from injury. Following the introduction of new regulations from the 2012–13 season, only three outfield players and one goalkeeper over the age of 21 can play for the reserves regularly.
The Tottenham Hotspur Academy is the youth system of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. The academy was created to train and develop players from the age of eight all the way through to the age of 23. Many of those who have progressed through Tottenham's academy have gone on to sign professional contracts and several have represented their country at full international level.
Chelsea F.C. Development Squad are the development team of Chelsea Football Club. They play in the Premier League 2, which is the top level of reserve football in England. They were the champions in the 2013–14 and 2019–20 seasons. The team mainly consists of under-21 players at the club, although senior players occasionally feature, when recovering from injuries or otherwise not in the first team. The under-21 team is managed by Mark Robinson and the under-18 team is managed by Hassan Sulaiman.
The Aston Villa Under-21s, formerly known as Aston Villa Reserves and Aston Villa Under-23s, are the most senior youth development team of Aston Villa and compete in Premier League 2, the Premier League Cup, and the EFL Trophy in the 2023–24 season. The team plays its home games at Aston Villa's training ground, Bodymoor Heath and occasionally Villa Park. Aston Villa also have an academy side that competes in the Under-18 division of the Professional Development League, the U18 Premier League Cup and the FA Youth Cup annually, most recently winning the latter trophy in the 2020-21 season. They also field a youth side in the Birmingham Senior Cup annually.

Manchester City is represented at Reserve level for football by the Elite Development Squad, also referred to as just the Elite Squad, or EDS, a predominantly Under-23 side that replaced the previous Reserve team in a move to focus on youth development post-academy. The club is represented at the Under-18 level by the Manchester City Academy team.

Kerala Blasters Football Club Reserves and Academy, also known as Kerala Blasters B, are the reserve team and academy of the Kochi based Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters. The reserve team of the Blasters most recently competes in the Kerala Premier League, the top division of Kerala football and the RF Development League. The club's youth system consists of three teams, Under-17, Under-15 and Under-13 age groups that competes in their respective age divisions of the Ernakulam District Youth League. The youth teams of the Blasters has previously played in the Elite League, the top tier of the youth football system in India.
East Bengal Football Club Reserves and Academy is the reserve team and youth system of the Indian Super League side East Bengal FC. Reserves generally consist of younger players, but at times senior players also play, if recuperating from injury or not getting first team game time. Apart from the I-League 2 (formerly), the reserve side usually plays in the Calcutta Football League.
Mumbai City FC Reserves and Academy is the reserve side and youth setup of Mumbai City. As of the 2023–24 season, the reserve team competes in the Reliance Foundation Development League and the Mumbai Football League.
ATK Reserves and Academy, formerly known as Atlético de Kolkata Reserves and Academy, was the reserve team and youth system of the Indian Super League side ATK. The reserve side participated in the I-League 2nd Division, the second division of Indian football, and in Calcutta Football League, men's professional football league in the state. The club's academy was founded on 15 August 2018 and the Under-18 side participated in the serve side was last coached by Deggie Cardozo and veteran tactician Sanjoy Sen was the head of youth development.
The Bandodkar Gold Trophy was an annual Indian football tournament held in Goa and organized by Goa Football Association. The tournament was first started in 1970 and to showcase the Goans' capabilities to organise an All-India football tournament. This was the first major cup tournament hosted by GFA, which was aided by the then Chief Minister Dayanand Bandodkar, who being a sports aficionado donated the trophy. This enabled the GFA to showcase its organisational skills. Apart from some top clubs from Goa, clubs from other Indian states, also have participated in this competition. Dempo SC has won the tournament for a record eight times, while Salgaocar FC won the last major edition held in 1992.
