Naypyidaw, officially spelled Nay Pyi Taw, is the capital and third-largest city of Myanmar. The city is located at the centre of the Naypyidaw Union Territory. It is unusual among Myanmar's cities, as it is an entirely planned city outside of any state or region. The city, then known only as Pyinmana District, officially replaced Yangon as the administrative capital of Myanmar on 6 November 2005; its official name was revealed to the public on Armed Forces Day, 27 March 2006.

Pakokku is the largest city in the Magway Region of Myanmar. It is situated about 30 km north-east of Bagan on the Irrawaddy River. It is the administration seat of Pakokku Township, Pakokku District and Gangaw District. Pakokku Bridge is part of the India–Myanmar–Thailand Trilateral Highway and is the longest bridge in Myanmar. It operates scheduled international services to destinations mainly in Southeast Asia and is based at Yangon International Airport. Myanmar Airways International was the sponsor of the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. MAI's logo shows pyinsarupa, a traditional Burmese chimeric animal.
Siam General Aviation Company Limited was an airline in Thailand. Previously operated as an arm for Nok Air under the brand Nok Mini, the company ended their partnership in March 2014. SGA were in talks to be acquired by Thai AirAsia but this fell through and the airline is no longer operating.
Mandalay International Airport, located 35 km south of Mandalay in Tada-U, is one of three international airports in Myanmar. Completed in 1999, it was the largest and most modern airport in the country until the modernization of Yangon International Airport in 2008. The airport connects 11 domestic and seven international destinations. Its 4,267 m (13,999 ft) runway is the longest runway in use in Southeast Asia and has the capacity to handle up to 3 million passengers a year. The airport is the main operating base of Golden Myanmar Airlines.
Myanmar National Airlines, formerly Union of Burma Airways, Burma Airways, and Myanma Airways, is a state-owned airline and the flag carrier of Myanmar, based in Yangon. Founded in 1948, the airline operates scheduled services to all major domestic destinations and to regional destinations in Asia. Its main base is Yangon International Airport.
Naypyidaw International Airport officially spelled Nay Pyi Taw, , is located 16 kilometres southeast of Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar. Before the foundation of Naypyidaw, this was referred to as the airport of the nearby town of Lewe. The airport officially opened on 19 December 2011.
Asian Wings Airways was an airline based in Myanmar. It began service on 27 January 2011. It offered regular flights to all major tourist destinations in Myanmar.
The Directorate of Medical Services (DMS) commands the Myanmar Army Medical Corps. The DMS also commands some military academies jointly with other directorates. Air KBZ is a privately owned domestic Myanmar airline based in Yangon. Air Kanbawza, otherwise known as AIR KBZ, was established in June 2010. The airline began operations with a Yangon-Bagan-Nyaung Oo-Mandalay-Heho-Yangon flight on 2 April 2019. In 2015 Air KBZ began codesharing international flights with its partner Myanmar Airways International, but on 2 December 2016 Air KBZ itself expanded internationally, launching its first scheduled service outside Myanmar with flights connecting Yangon and Chiang Mai in neighboring Thailand.
Air Bagan Flight 011 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight of a Fokker 100 twinjet from Yangon to Heho, Myanmar. On 25 December 2012, the aircraft crash-landed short of the runway at Heho Airport in fog, coming to a stop in a paddy field and bursting into flames. One of the 71 people on board and a motorcyclist on the ground were killed and more than 10 people were injured.
Any foreign national who wishes to enter Myanmar must obtain a visa unless they are a citizen of one of the eligible visa exempt countries. All visitors to Myanmar must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months.
Mann Yadanarpon Airlines Company Limited is a privately owned domestic airline based in Mandalay, Myanmar. The airline began operations in February 2014. The airline also offers charter services and is planning to commence regional services to Thailand.
APEX Airlines was a charter and scheduled airline based in Yangon, Myanmar. APEX provided scheduled air services to Myanmar's commercial city Yangon and to Tanintharyi Region with daily flights. It main base was Naypyidaw International Airport
