Facing is a documentary series that portrays the lives of some of the most influential figures in history. [2] The episodes combine archived photos and video footage with first person interviews from individuals who have known or "faced" these personalities; no single narrator for the series or any dramatization is involved. Produced by Network Entertainment, it is a five part series telecast on the National Geographic Channel. The series was nominated for the 2017 RealScreen Awards and Leo Awards. [3] In the RealScreen Awards, it won the history/biographical category in a non-fiction series. [4] It bagged several accolades in the Leo Awards including the best documentary program, best direction and best editing. [5]

For over thirty years, the couple has run Gryphon Productions and has a catalog that includes hundreds of finished films and videos, many that have appeared on television and cable networks globally and continue to be used in classrooms and outreach centers as educational and advocacy videos.

<i>Iggy Arbuckle</i> Television series

Iggy Arbuckle is a Canadian animated sitcom created by Guy Vasilovich, which aired on Teletoon in Canada from June 29 to October 10, 2007. Based on a comic strip from National Geographic Kids, the series focuses on a pig named Iggy Arbuckle, who happens to be a forest ranger, known in the series as a "Pig Ranger", and his best friend, a beaver named Jiggers. The plot involves Iggy's attempts to protect the environmental structure of the Kookamunga National Park, a fictional national park that takes place in a world of anthropomorphic animals. The series was produced by Blueprint Entertainment, in association with C.O.R.E. Toons and National Geographic Kids. Worldwide, it was distributed by Oasis International.

Ice Pilots NWT is a reality television series broadcast on History Television that portrayed Buffalo Airways, an airline based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. Buffalo mainly flies WWII-era piston powered propeller planes as well as Lockheed L-188 Electra turboprop aircraft year-round in northern Canada. Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey is a 2014 American science documentary television series. The show is a follow-up to the 1980 television series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, which was presented by Carl Sagan on the Public Broadcasting Service and is considered a milestone for scientific documentaries. This series was developed to bring back the foundation of science to network television at the height of other scientific-based television series and films. The show is presented by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who, as a young high school student, was inspired by Sagan. Among the executive producers are Seth MacFarlane, whose financial investment was instrumental in bringing the show to broadcast television, and Ann Druyan, a co-author and co-creator of the original television series and Sagan's wife.
