Fairview is a residential neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by Glenmore Trail and 66 Avenue S, to the east by Blackfoot Trail, to the south by Heritage Drive and to the west by Macleod Trail. Fairmount Drive bisects the neighbourhood from north to south and Chinook Centre is located northwest from the community. Fairview features homes built in the late 1950s and early 1960s on what are now considered large lots. Many are in the 1,000 sq ft range with most being bungalows. Many homes are still owned and occupied by the original owners.

Daniel E. Kelley American musician

Daniel E. Kelley was a musician and entertainer, who after moving to Kansas in 1872, wrote the music for "Home on the Range", which became the state song. Kelley played violin with his brothers-in-law in the Harlan Brothers Band, but was primarily a carpenter by trade. He married Mary E. Harlan in Kansas and they had four children. He moved to Iowa in 1889 and died of a stroke there in 1905. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa.

Gloss Mountain State Park

Glass Mountains State Park is an Oklahoma state park located in Major County, Oklahoma, near the city of Fairview, Oklahoma. A recreational-educational park that is accessible 365 days a year for hiking and picnicking, from sunrise to sunset. There are no campsites or other overnight accommodations in the park. Facilities include a restroom, pavilions, picnic areas, grills, public water supply, handicap trail to historical marker, and a hiking trail from base parking lot to the top of Cathedral Mountain and across the mesa to view the valley floor and Lone Peak Mountain. Points of interest include land geography, geological formations, Selenite gypsum, scenery and wildlife. This range is also known as the Glass Mountains.

West Park, Cleveland

West Park is a historical area on the West Side of Cleveland, Ohio. Once an independent municipality, it was annexed by Cleveland after a referendum in 1923. The area covers 12.5 square miles and is bounded by West 117th Street to the east, the Rocky River Valley to the west, Brookpark Road to the South, and the streetcar suburb of Lakewood to the north. The Cleveland City Planning Commission traditionally divides West Park into four subneighborhoods: Jefferson, Kamm's Corners, Bellaire–Puritas, and Hopkins.
