Dil Jo Bhi Kahey... is a 2005 Indian romantic drama film directed by Romesh Sharma. In 1973, Bachchan played the role of Inspector Vijay Khanna in Prakash Mehra's action film Zanjeer. He has since appeared in several films with the character name "Vijay". During the same year, he appeared in Abhimaan and Namak Haraam. For the latter, he received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Two years later he appeared along with Shashi Kapoor, in Yash Chopra's Deewaar, which earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor nomination. He was caited as the "angry young man" for his roles in Deewaar and Zanjeer. Later he starred in Ramesh Sippy's Sholay (1975), which is considered to be one of the greatest Indian films of all time. After appearing in the romantic drama Kabhie Kabhie (1976), Bachchan starred in Manmohan Desai's action comedy Amar Akbar Anthony (1977). He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in the latter. He then played dual roles of Don and Vijay in Don (1978), which again earned him the Filmfare Best Actor Award for the consecutive year.

Set during the period of Company rule in India, the film follows a small-time thug from Awadh, Firangi Mallah, who is sent by an East India Company official to infiltrate and counter a band of thugs.
Shu Thayu? is a 2018 Indian Gujarati language comedy film written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik and produced by Mahesh Danannavar, the founder of MD Media Corp & Vaishal Shah. It stars Malhar Thakar, Yash Soni, Mayur Chauhan, Mitra Gadhavi, Aarjav Trivedi and Kinjal Rajpriya. The score was composed by the Kedar-Bhargav and Rahul Munjariya. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012).
Jhund is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language biographical sports film based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of NGO Slum Soccer. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sandip Singh, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Hiremath, Nagraj Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni and Meenu Arora under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment Pvt.Ltd and Aatpat Films. The filming began in December 2018 at Nagpur. The film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akash Thosar, Rinku Rajguru and Ankush Gedam, is written and directed by Nagraj Manjule.

The film was released on 25 August 2023 and went on to become the second-highest grossing Gujarati film of all time, behind Chaal Jeevi Laiye!.
